one thing that keeps my hopes up is that the mom talks about elaina in present tense.

one thing that is shooting those hopes down is the medication being at the home.

i just don't know WHAT to think! well, aside from angela having something to do with it, that is.

Me either! The fact that she is so emotionless and does use present tense makes me feel like the baby is safe. Dad's family doesn't seem to be flipping out either and that gives me a lot of hope. They seem angry and frustrated but not defeated. I wonder if this is the first time she has pulled a stunt like this with the kids...

OTOH, it has been a week and I don't see how Angela could have keep a walking, talking child hid this long without help. Maybe she has close friends or siblings that we haven't seen yet but all of her social media profiles seem to show only rather shallow and fleeting interactions. And unless the bf's mom is one heck of an actress I don't think she would stay quiet.

I would love to know what lead to the parents splitting and what their relationships were like with each girl. If Angela was closest to the Elaina then I can see her hiding her away but if Terry was closest to the baby ... Well, that scares me.

After reading FM's first post, the timeline is much tighter than I expected. Knowing when K last saw her sister would narrow it down even more.

Why did TJ not the want girls at the King home? I know abuse has been mentioned but did he think someone there was abusing the girls or was it more along the lines of abusing drugs in the home? What type of mother was Angela? Did she favor the baby over K?

I have a billion questions but I will quit now. I hope this baby is just hid.

^^^ Yeah I was just thinking of the timeline and him being "out on a different street looking for her" I wonder if they tried to hide her but obviously alone she wouldn't stay hidden by herself and she really did wander off.

Was the place the bf was down the street close to where that dog hit as to where the baby was?

So many questions...

Thrush is very common is infants and people with compomised immune systems.

It is a form of yeast overgrowth in mouth. Babies get it from milk setting in their mouths and people on chemo have to worry about it.


I have not heard of and 1 and 1/2 year old having it ever so I think that maybe she was still on the bottles and they werent cleaned well. MOO.

Wow! Ferret's very first post! Sounds to me the bf took Elaine out the backdoor to hide her somewhere. What other possible explanation is there? He and Angela were the only two in the house (bf's parents were on the porch, Terry Sr and Jr outside too) and when Angela came back out, bf went out the backdoor with the girl.

Someone has to fess up!

My son had it often up until he was about 4 and he stopped taking a bottle at 10 months. He kept strep throat and we never found an antibiotic that didn't cause thrush. He finally had his tonsils removed and problem solved but it was a hard 4 years.
 
To Ferret , have police or anyone else asked the 4 yr old if she knows anything? I don't know if she's able to or if she's very afraid or what her condition is. I'm so sad for your family. We're all praying with you for a great and miraculous outcome !

Me too! The family knows Angela best and probably have a better grasp on how desperate she might have been and what she is capable of. A bf with a previous heroin addiction is a big wildcard though. His relationship with Angela must be rather new so what would be his motive for risking some serious charges for hiding Elaina but if they have known each other much longer that would change things. There is so many unknowns.

Where is our sweet lil girl?
