I am with you on that. I don't believe he was in that garage everyday while the baby was missing.
If he was it was probably to check to see if the box was untouched and well hidden.
There is going to be so much back and forth blaming here. All of them should be taken in and put in separate rooms for questioning and perhaps also be arrested for obstruction of justice.

I see it the other way, in fact I am not sure she knew where the body was, I still believe her "if i give her to him i will never see her again" was regarding SK. and i think SK would want to be sure she couldn't give it away. I really believe he was the main perp even though AS is the sorriest excuse for a mother i can think of.
 
Guys, I know all of this is very upsetting and disturbing. We do not make up names for anyone, guilty or not. We do not have name variations and we don't make fun of anyone period.

Discuss what we know, that's fine but no bashing, no name calling and no name variations.

So very sad. I'll NEVER understand how anyone can murder a child. I pray my mind never goes into a place that would allow that type of behavior to be OK. As much as I love my own kids, I pray I'm never in a situation to defend them against such a heinous crime. I would hope I would remain quiet rather than be right in front of media. Just so much that my mind can't comprehend, and again, I pray it never does comprehend as it would mean I've completely lost it.

Just a baby. Damnit! A baby!!!

If RS had some knowledge of this and then dragging the family through hell for 3 months and creating trouble, fighting with ES's family, luring TJ over to his side with false promises of baby's momentos ....... his butt needs to be picked up too. He had to have known something..... there is no way he noticed one missing box in a ' trash pile ' of 100s of old boxes all over the place and up on rafters and covered in trash. Zero chance .
 
I have followed this case since day one. I had to take a break for awhile but never stopped praying for beautiful Elaina to be found. As well as praying for her family. My heart is just breaking and to top it off to learn that LE was right there and didn't search the garage. Just makes my blood boil. SK's mother knows way more than she is saying and she needs to be locked up for hurting the investigation.

Whatever is going on, he's a liar quickly approaching the level of Casey Parsons in the Erica Parsons case.

I don't trust or like Schiewe but on one thing I give him a pass. I believe that he is sure of AS's innocence in the death of the baby. He may be wrong but I think he fully believes in her just not calling police and helping cover up. Cause I think he loves her, he was her dad for most of her life and dads adore their little girls even as grown ups. His attitude and statements and behavior are of a not nice person but that doesn't mean he doesn't believe her...i can only go by what I would believe in a situation like this and my mind wouldn't be able to believe she killed him as her parent.

and i will never forgive him in putting TJ in a box against his family.

Shame on them!!!! This is a little baby, they should have searched every possible crack of that home! Shame shame shame.
 
As many others, I have been following this case from the beginning. My heart hurts...I am so sorry-this is not the outcome I was hoping for.

I found this... cadaver dogs sent to the neighborhood on 12 June.

If they were not able to get into the garage based on the condition.. it is too bad they didn't come back with the proper doggie equipment (re: the booties etc that they use for landfill searches with cadaver dogs)

It is inexcusable. And what happened to searching by hand too Dogs aren't always right so just to ignore the garage when SK had about 10 minutes to disappear her is beyond my comprehension

I also have been following this since day one and praying.
IIRC at the very beginning there was some discussion about SK running out the back of the house by himself and his mother said she was with him as well as a cousin.
Garage is at the back of the house
I do not believe Mom was with him the whole time
I find it totally infuriating that by all accounts SK ran out of back of the house and LE did not do a thorough search of the garage at time.

This is so sad on so many levels. Toledo police has a lot they need to clarify about how they dealt with things if they want the community to trust them.
 
And another thing, they found it fast enough when told exactly where it was, so clearly the garage wasn't so dangerous they couldn't search.

That is why i rarely posted. I was sure he had taken her on his own or with cousin and hidden her nearby but i knew mine wasn't the popular stance. I still don't understand why he wasn't arrested with Angela.

And one searcher said that when team tried to search near garage they were chased off with a 2x4!

I just want to jump off of your post , hope it's ok. Hubby has a work shop with rafters (things are easily stored there). A couple of years ago, one of our Big tom cats went missing. We found him about a month later, only bones and fur. This was in July. The rafter provide a deep space in the loft. Not ONCE did we smell the cat decomposing. Hubby found it, when he got up there to get supplies. The smell apparently went through the roof.
