Tony Geftos ‏@TonyGeftos 2m After the newser about baby Elaina, I asked Chief Diggs how he was doing. He said, "I just want to get this case solved."

He better watch out.. he's obstructing !
LE just said the garage was full of other boxes and trash so when did RS ' clear it out' ?

Hubby is also ex LE. I wish he would join. He reads here all the time, but as a guest. :(

I really had my doubts about this man from the beginning and they just keep getting worse the more he opens his mouth. Why is he protesting so loud about AS innocents?

Guys, I know all of this is very upsetting and disturbing. We do not make up names for anyone, guilty or not. We do not have name variations and we don't make fun of anyone period.

Discuss what we know, that's fine but no bashing, no name calling and no name variations.

Thanks.

Bump.....please don't get this thread closed. :(

Neither do I! I've cleaned out a hoarder's home before. There's absolutely no way I could tell you what box was or wasn't there. No way! 7 trucks loads of trash we threw away out of ONE room. Unbelievable, but true.

I also know the smell of decomposition, though not of humans. The odor lingers, and can be smelt from quite a bit away. My dogs are not trained cadaver dogs, but they can find any decomposing critter on the farm, and YUCK!

I just can't believe every single place on that property wasn't searched! All rooms, all property. Makes no sense! I thought an investigation always start at the last known place a person was, and expands from there. How in the name of hades was that garage not searched? Heck, bring in a dumpster, and take each piece out by hand, but SEARCH IT!!! I just don't understand. All that wasted time and money, and the body was RIGHT THERE! Will definitely make me question future searches!!! And not just take for granted and assume searches are thoroughly done!

Thank God baby Elaina has been found! I was reading posts late last night, and I see there's a lot of posts and news to catch up with. Before I go back and read the posts, I just want to say that I'm grateful that baby Elaina was found, even if it was from on that property. I never believed baby Elaina was in the river, and if baby Elaina had been in that river, there's a good chance she may never have been found, especially after 3 months. At least the DA will now have what they need to prosecute AS and SK for murder, and hopefully arrest everyone involved. I hope the ME will be able to determine COD today.

I'm pizzzzed at LE for NOT making 704 Federal st. a crime scene the moment AS failed to produce baby Elaina, and that she was not found during the searches that were conducted. I hope whoever in LE who dropped the ball over and over will be held accountable for this, as baby Elaina should have been found the very first day.

To Ferretmommy and the Steinfurth family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers, I'm so very sorry.

I'm going to go back to last nights posts to catch up on what all has happened, and it looks like quite a bit! Is there going to be a presser, and is there a link anyone has to watch?

God Bless the Steinfurth family.

Praying for Justice for baby Elaina.

Police said at the press conference Friday, that the area was "tough to search," and the box was located in the far corner on a shelf in rafters. Cadaver dogs were brought to the scene, but due to the condition of the property, dogs were not allowed to go inside.
Later Thursday, Lucas County Coroner James Patrick confirmed that the box did contain human remains. At the press conference Friday, police said they found "immature skeletal remains."

Look how close Caylee was found next to her home. This is a prime example of how children are disposed of close to home. :(

ok, wait a minute. The police specifically have stated during conference and local news RIGHT NOW is stating same thing...the box WAS NOT IN SK's garage! It was in a garage located on Prentice Street which is the street directly behind SK's house as I have posted before. They are now running interview with volunteer in the very beginning that was part of search with dogs that said she walked down the alley and the dog hit and started jumping at the fence. The man who owns the house (they have NOT released his name) came out and threatened them with a 2x4 and told them they were not allowed to go into garage. here is link to volunteer interview and up to date news saying that box was found in garage on PRENTICE street....not SK's house.

Wednesday??? Did he know something was coming down yesterday?

Police said it was the garage on Federal in the news conference though.

I just watched the press conference. It sounded like he said it was at 701 not 704. Anyone able to hear that part clearly, he was talking kind of fast.

The Toledo Police Department and others today held the news conference to discuss new breaks in the case of the missing baby, who was last seen at 704 Federal St. about three months ago. Police found a computer box containing the suspected human remains in a detached garage at that address Thursday.
