I don't get that. I would never turn down help from TES. Even with LEO,and FBI, and other agencies on the case. I would ask Tim how soon can you get here? He's def someone to cling to when you have a kid missing. MOO

We aren't allowed to sleuth people who haven't been named POIs/suspects by LE per WS TOS.

The only person we can sleuth right now is HD.

So FB posts, mug shots, YT vids, etc. of anybody other than HD are likely a huge no-no on the thread.

Someone was asking for maps. I'm not a map wizard but this should answer questions posed.

The first one shows the (red) pin at the Dilly residence and it's relation to the high school (blue pin).

The second is a panned out view that includes the many nearby bodies of water.

Chief released this statement : "I would request that any future searches be conducted at the request of the Police Department. When and if that happens, I will post that on our Facebook page in time to give everyone notice that wishes to assist."

On 12-27:
From Chiefs statement about that search on facebook : "For those that don’t know, a search of 150 + acres was conducted today by multiple agencies, to include; Helicopters, Search & Rescue Canine Teams and approximately 75 Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire & Rescue Departments on the Local, County, State and Federal levels. I have NO new information that I can share at this time with you."

Prior to 12-23 there were some residents and a local PI firm doing searches but none of it was at all organized and I believe that led Chief Hickman to call them off.
IMO ... From what I can gather there isn't organized search happening aside following up on specific tips / any suspicious activity.

Not to mention people inadvertently contaminating any possible incident/crime scenes ... :/

Here is one of the first articles about him. I was wrong about the searching, they were supposed to organize one asap. However I think it's odd they first said he was seen AT the school at 3. It just seems a weird detail to change.

Could something have happened at school? And then the kids changed their story? Or someone is protecting them?

TES is do good at what they do, just a shame really to not give them the opportunity to turn the search up a notch. Do not understand how it would interfere with, but that's just MOO. After I did that map I was thinking ...
Why would Harley have left at 6:50a for school ? It's a 10 minute walk.

That would have put him at school around 7:02a nearly 30 minutes early OR meeting up with someone? wandering around ?

Early on it was said by a few students that they saw him after school on his bike. Family/friends said on the Missing Harley group that he didn't have access to a working bike. For that and I believe other reasons (maybe descriptions of clothing not matching? my speculation) and Harley not being in any of his classes Chief Hickman dismissed the sightings as unreliable.

Unless you are a rebellious teenager,or have a rebellious Teenager. They said he's done this before,but came back. So I'm thinking they thought giving him some time,and space would help,and he'd be back, safe and sound like before. So they acted normal,carried on with normal daily life. No worries he'll be back,and we'll get through these teenage years,look back and laugh,and joke about those wild bygone trying Teenage years.

Oh I have been through several teenagers. One was very rebellious. I also witnessed her rebellious friends. The only parents that were not worried about where their kids were, were the one that only cared that the kids were out of their hair. No one will be able to convince me that not knowing where your kid is for 41 hours is normal.

This story has gone nation-wide. HD's FB shows that he likes the New York Yankees, and he did post his phone number at the top of the bathtub video. He could have made contact with someone who offered to bring him to New York for Christmas vacation. It's a fun place to visit this time of year--now heading into New Year's Eve. Or to go to Florida, where the Yankees do spring training. Still hopeful he can be found.

I'm also concerned about this. The facebook pages seem to have really slowed down with locals posting. With the chief continuing to say he's treating it as a runaway and no information ... people are going to just go about business as usual and forget Harley.

That makes sense. I read one comment where a woman said her son sees him at Bataan hanging around a resource officer. I looked it up, Bataan is a intermediary school in PC.

I wonder if they saw the comment? There are so many, it's possible they didn't.

I think if Harley was hanging around with a resource officer that person has gone to LE if they know anything that could help.

I still think it's possible he ran based on his home life. However I cannot shake the feeling someone is covering for their own child. And hence discrepancy between seeing him at school and not.

However, IF that were the case, it will eventually come out. Small towns still talk.

I don't think family is guilty of anything more than neglect to his feelings.

Chief Hickman requested that anyone owning cabins or lakehouses check themselves and / or grant them permission to search if police should request it. It doesn't sound like any wide scale searches of the many vacant vacation homes is being planned.

I do agree that ring cameras are not as common in this area. However, Deer and hunting cams are very popular. Chief requested that people review their hunting cameras for anything suspicious.

I don't know the area, so I don't know how feasible it'd be to check all those cabins/lakehouses. However, Jayme Closs ended up at the abductor's family cabin. A copycat abduction is possible.

IMO ... From what I can gather there isn't organized search happening aside following up on specific tips / any suspicious activity.

Wonder if they should check some more around Lakeside Resort. There are a lot of summer homes in there, perhaps easy to get into during the winter season when owners are back home. Some of those cottages, etc. are pretty old, so perhaps easy to break into. Stayed in a rental there once and it was pretty dumpy.
