This article in the University of Toledo Collegian Newspaper explains that Ohio, and specifically Toledo, is one of the worst places in the nation for human trafficking - I believe relating to why we see so many murders of young women in our region. What can we do to solve this?

Hposleuth, Human Trafficking is a major contributor to the tragic Silent Epidemic of Missing & Murdered Persons in the US and beyond. Your question ; 'What can we do to solve this'? is a very good question. By being a member of websleuths and being involved in spreading awareness, while seeking answers, you are already making a contribution. I always think of Helen Keller's quote; "Alone we can do little, but together we can accomplish anything"!
There are many SARs and missing persons advocacy groups in OHIO and all across the US. Due the physical requirements, family or other commitments, financial, etc. You do not have to be a foot searcher or k9 handler, etc., to contribute or to become an advocate, nor does it have to be full time.. There are researchers, mappers, and many other support services needed to properly operate the day to day operations of these very effective organizations.
As John Walsh says, "You can make a difference"!
CUE<Community United Effort>is a very good missing person organization and has an Ohio State Coordinator
