i however do not post on these i only read threw them. as to not throw myself into the whole mix. i only know a few of the people involved in the case due to my employment and to bring myself out of the shadows would only bring negativatey to my career. so i only discuss my views and theroies on here being that there is still someone of an anonmity(sp) about being on a fourm and not a facebook

What do people you are around think about what happened to her?
 
IDK what to think any more. It seems to be a mystery. I hope LE get a lead that will break this case soon.
 
the dumpsters- after the church festival ..I STILL think they missed a chance there!!!

they seem to think my theory could be relevant. but like i said i dont involve myself in the case really. just thought that it was important to put out the fact that i dont think billy and katelyn being in the same area going missin within a year of each other and has a close connection to the inner circle of friends around katelyn is just a coincidence. expecially after realizing cfn also knows billy and if i remember right cfn also had ties to katelyn somehow
 
There are alot of SO in the area too. I guess I dont really have one person that jumps out at me.
 
I'm still hoping and praying the will find Katelyn. I hope TES goes back and this time locates her if she is deceased.

Whoever abducted her, and I do believe she was abducted wouldn't have kept her alive for long. imo

Cincinnati still hasn't gotten a "good" frost (at least not at my house, which is somewhat inner-city), but my inlaws in the country said they got a good one a few weeks back.
 
Does TES usually come back when they say they are going to? Or does the family have to call to request them to come again?
 
I wonder if someone was watching Katelyn for awhile, maybe a SO because of the timing of her disappearance and her dad just moving out. Someone that knew her dad was gone.
 
I agree, concernedmother, I bet the timing played a role.

We got a good frost today! About a third of the leaves are down.
 
I have not gone into this case as indepth as I might wish
due to time constraints but I have run a few web searches
for the news articles and to find her website links
(at least the easily found ones such as the linkedin etc.)
& I have went back to the beginning of the thread & read forward
(although in a hurried fashion) & I have read some posts through
the boardreader website which also showed many of the WS posts too.

I do not have a concrete answer to this mystery but a couple of
minor things reminded me of this case:
'. . .Inside an unplugged freezer, they found a set of human remains
that investigators believe may be those of his girlfriend,
who disappeared in 1983, when she was 29. . .'

Also:
I wonder if LE has thought to have someone (not us) make a job offer on
that linkdedin site she has just to help make sure she isn't a runaway
still monitoring her site for jobs?

& that the dog remained but I have read no further mention of her cat.
Is it still there or has it disappeared too or was it already out of her life
when she went missing?

It has been said that her dad has her dog and her boy friend has her cat.
 
WHY doesn't Sweet Katelyn get the same press the likes of Baby Lisa?

Every missing person is ONE too MANY!

Where are you Katelyn??? So hard to believe that so many perps have gotten so masterful with leaving zero evidence and being able to hide a body to never be found... ARRRGGGHHH!!!!
 
Three things that made me go 'hmmm' about the boyfriend
is that on the 911 call he took time to point out that there
were 'questionable' people in town that night (which information
LE must have already been well aware of due to the public
event going on in the area) almost as if to shift focus away from
himself from the very beginning of the case and also
the fact that he later made the statement that he knew
people were looking at him. (This reminded me
of that mother of the missing baby in another case where there has
evidently been suspicion the mother was indeed involved in some way.)

Also he made it plain that he had to burn papers for Katelyn
& I sort of wondered if that was to set up a reason to have
evidence that linked him to having been near a fire. . . . . . since
fire is sometimes used to destroy evidence of a crime.

That was convenient information for him to have released
right away at the very begining of the case (Questionable people in area,
he had to burn stuff.) I think LE thought it odd too because
one article I read said LE asked him about the
'questionable people' words he had used.

She was planning to move away with him and start a life together?
What if she got cold feet as people sometimes do & just needed some
space & time but what if he took her words to be a final decision?

I know he got texts from her phone but if he had been in
possession of that phone he could have sent them to himself from her
phone. I suppose the phone or at least its sim card might have been
burned or otherwise disposed of later?

I realize that the things I noticed are mostly minor stuff but they made
me wonder.

Excellent Thoughts...The whole "firepit" incident is a HUGE Red Flag for me.Did they search the friend's property/firepit for remains of body parts or clothes??

I am reminded of Gary Michael Hilton's murder of my dear friend Cheryl Hodges Dunlap. He took her Dec. 1, removed her Head and Hands and left her body in the Apalachicla National Forest to be found by hunters Dec. 15, 2007. Her sons, whom I had taught in 1st grade, where left to bury what he left of her body. I was in court the day they showed her head and hand bone remains, along with metal parts from her clothes..i.e..bra clasps, zippers, buttons from jeans. So very sad.

Dear God..If Sweet Katelyn is in Heaven, Make Sure Cheryl Looks After Her..They Would Be Great Friends!
 
I dont understand why they dont release to the public the location of the last ping. It may jar someones memory or at least someone may have seen something that they feel foolish reporting thinking its not important.
