#PikeCountyMassacre UPDATE: Prosecutors are currently trying to enter exhibits into evidence - items jurors will be able to review during deliberations. This process has been a really long slog.. Watch live on #WLWT's Facebook page..

The voluminous exhibits are labeled by letter, starting w/ A and going all the way through JJJJ. Sounds like both sides are on IIII now. For obvious reasons, the defense team is objecting to having certain exhibits admitted into evidence. Hoping this process wraps up soon..

I understand another witness will be taking the stand today in #GeorgeWagner's murder trial in connection w/ the #PikeCountyMassacre. Media contacts at the courthouse in Waverly, OH, Silas Wagner will be taking the witness stand, opting out of video/audio. 1/2

Silas Wagner is the relative who Jake Wagner said sold him, his brother George & their dad Billy Wagner (all co-defendants) the pickup truck Jake said the three men drove to Union Hill Rd. - where Jake said they started killing 8 members of the Rhoden family.

The testimony of Jake and Angela is valid. Their confessions were made separately, without having communicated with each other, without have read proffers. For the most part, they match in details. There's no legit reason to nullify their confessions.

There's no legit reason to fully believe either of them hook, line, and sinker, either.
 
You can not trust GW4, he has been trained from the time he started talking to be a criminal and how to avoid the justice system, GW4 has crazy eyes like Jake, please people do not fall for the lies GW4 is telling, Some how I feel FW is paying a lot of extra money out on this defense, JMO

Yep, the state dropped DP like a hot rock on the two that "complied" and AW got a sweetheart deal from all appearances. Don't want to die? Then give us the other two on a platter.

Gw4, like JW, was kept home, home-schooled, his marriage run by his mother, and as a child, played only with kids on BBL and FWF. Very controlled life. No wonder he wanted to drive a truck. JW was the good boy who didn't rebel against his family's lifestyle, G4 seems he's being portrayed as a "bad kid" for wanting more and rebelling against his family's lifestyle. One that obviously elevated good boy JW over GW4. Who wouldn't want away from AW and her scam of a dog, pony, and pig show farm?

It was a shame Jake and George couldn't break themselves away from mommy and daddy dearest.
They both made very good monies but were saddled with having to support mom and dad and all their hobbies and losses. George being a truck driver AND a mechanic could've led a very comfortable lifestyle.
As parents we are to draw them a map of life to live on their own, not the main use of supporting us parents.
 

On to the final batch MMMM - the ATF etrace forms that they used to find who bought the weapons at the Columbus gun show when George bought a gun the same day that Jake bought the murder weapon at the same gun show.

Defense asks it be blocked because it's hearsay - there has been no testimony that the documents are accurate or from any of the gun stores that they filled it out.

Getting testy between prosecutors and defense - Canepa says if you want us to call more witnesses we will ... Nash "we're objecting - you call who you want"

Judge bars them using the timeline powerpoint showing all the purchases by the Wagners - they have the actual records for them.

Defense asks for a full list of what has been admitted - all evidence going under lock and key. Prosecution will put together full typing list.

Unclear whether they are finished entirely or if there are a few stragglers they need to finalize on evidence. Either way, we're almost done with this process. Two sides in chambers to talk about scheduling off the record.

I do remember those commercials. That is the exact same thing I said. Where's the beef? There is no substance to the states case against George. When Canepa asked him what should happen to someone who would kill 8 innocent people , two of them nursing mothers, you could see the feverent anger in Georges face when he said "Anyone who did this should be given death," You could tell he meant every word of it. Powerful statement in view that his brother and mother have confessed to doing it.

I saw him retain his anger at JW over 'vine, his body language over JW's new truck, and many other things. I have heard JW in court, I've heard him being asked why he smiled when talking about the murders, I've never once heard JW express remorse that he took eight lives. He and AW are birds of a feather.
 
I have followed this case from day one! I always thought it was Jake! Then with all the evidence I saw, all the despicable actions this family has a history of and entitlement they think they deserve! All four will do anything to get their way! Total endangerment to society!

I don't like saying that but what if the jury feel the same....
He seems very credible....yes sometimes his story didn't match but what if he really didn't know about his family killing 8 people.
Maybe he was just so scared they we being stiched up that he did say they were all together that night to give them a alibi out of fear they were being accused of something he thought they would never do.
I don't even know if that makes sense but there's definitely doubt in my mind now.
What will his life be like if he's found not guilty.

If he is found not guilty? It will be all up to GW4 how his life will progress. It is up to him. We all have choices and options, opportunities in life and GW4 is no different, though he failed to make any changes previously when he claimed to dislike his family. I see that there is evidence of beyond a reasonable doubt though. Believe me, I tried to see him as innocent. Would never want to see an innocent person wrongly convicted. IMO

Most likely it will wrap up before the Christmas holiday season, depending on how long the jury deliberates. Sentencing hearing might not be scheduled until next year.
