CHARLIE49 I am beginning to see a dichotomy in the alliances of the W4. In their marriage AW is the manipulator and GWIII the muscle. In the brother's relationship, Jake W is the manipulator and GWIV is the muscle. I can see if AW and JakeW decided to do something, it would be easy to manipulate their "supportive but stupid musclemen" into being their accomplices. I think LE figured that part out and why more initial interviews with AW & JW than the others. In my Opinion, of course. Interestingly, AW asked for "day wear" and "no shackles"....and now JW has asked for exactly the same thing. Once is an accident, two is a coincidence, but three is a pattern.

Could very well be. I hadn’t thought of that. The issue I have I’d. FRED. I THINK SHES IN IT up to her snood. She’s the head of family, has all the money. She is conniving and manipulative. I believe she wanted both great grandchildren but knew she was to old to care for them. As long as they were raised by a Waggie Fred was good with it.

It doesn't mean they were interviewed together, it means they were both interviewed the same day. It may have been at the same time but I doubt they were together. You can't catch people in lies if you interview them together....

Absolutely I believe they’d question them at the same time/dif’ rooms. Lol, if not, the first would return home only to tell the next the questions to expect & answers to give. Not that I believe they hadn’t rehearsed, with, Imo, AW “suggesting” answers to potential questions. Like Dudly mentions, cant catch them lying in a group interview. Separate them, give each interviewer the exact same questions & it’s very easy to find discrepancies, should they exist.

Wagner, his brother and parents are accused of meticulously planning the murders by hacking into social media accounts and monitoring them. They’re also accused of intercepting communications beginning as early as 2014. According to the indictment, Jake Wagner purchased a video recording device in March 2016 -- a month before the murders, but it and other evidence were destroyed.

Jake Wagner set to appear in court for Rhoden family massacre

Is it possible the video recording device referenced enabled the W’s to know exactly what time they could enter DRs home & exactly how many were there, etc? Was one (or more) watching in ‘real time’, from a phone, perhaps? We heard they used walkie talkie type devices for their AK road trips. Did they use walkie talkies at the murder scene?
Did the W’s use the aforementioned video recording device to know the layouts of each trailer home? Also, using said device to be able monitor where each occupant was at the specific moment of entry? Even tho one/more reportedly had familiarity with each home, it’d still be wise to know what the heck was going on at the moment of entry, especially with multiple persons in a home.
IMO, video recording device = voyeurism.

Could le interviewed them at the farm together and recorded the interview? Le could have asked for permission to record and W agreed. Jmo

I don’t see a “group interview”. Jmo
Never heard of LE asking permission to record, rather advising it is being recorded, at the onset. Jmo

The only way I would see a group interview would be in the accused home. Jmo or they went to the le and said we thought of something then le could have them together.

T. They were monitoring phones and computers since 2014?

Does that infer that Jake was possibly a very jealous partner and wanted to know every person she was speaking to and what was said? That’s a significant control issue in my thinking. And when they broke up it may have driven him nuts. If he was as close to his grandmother as it is said, it may lead her into this much sooner and to a much more significant degree than has been proven.

Video monitoring equipment could have been anything from a teddy bear for her room, a clock or radio to a trail cam mounted on a tree across the road from her trailer.

I wonder that although the equipment had been destroyed if Jake had that info/recordings/video stored on a cd or hard drive LE found. I’m not certain but the phone provider may have had access to everything he downloaded on his phone or saved on it.

I didn’t realize the surveillance started two years prior to the murders. He could have listened to every intimate thing she did in her bedroom with anyone. And I’m assuming Angela would be familiar with surveillance from the Air Force and Fred would have each animal and barn covered in case of another incident or fire. Sheds new light in things from my perspective.

No offense taken if someone can do this on a calendar format. I am trying to add new info in a different color. (I may run out of colors!) It appears W4's sent LE on wild goose chases and tried to implicate JManley, (Dana's brother). It always happened shortly after a W4 interview. (Are these "all the lies" which Sheriff Reader had referenced?)
I think LE fell for it, (or at least they wanted the W4's to think they fell for it.) JM's father was really angry and said, "I would bet my life my kids didn't do this."
Thank you, IQ! Love your color coding. I think LE hoped the 4 believed LE bought their lies & effort to deflect attention. I don’t think for one moment they actually did. In any crime, if a perp’ or anyone, implicates another, that person, too must be questioned. Unless, of course, an arrest is made.
Not even a month after the murders JW evidently had a formal interview. This tells me LE had him on their radar immediately. LE said, “at least 2 people did this”. They had to work the investigation methodically & find any other person/s. I still maintain the W4 were under surveillance by the close of day 2 & the surveillance increased daily. It takes time to secure warrants, get manpower in place, etc.

They’re not going to give interviews on their property. They would take them in.

LE May have had some conversations at their house. It’s a technique to allow the suspect to feel safe and comfortable. After they became true suspects boom they were in the Sheriffs office and videoed six ways from Sunday during interviews.

One of the 4 appears to have a decent level of technology. I’m going to rule G3 out. I think JW or his mom. Or two brains together. Was JW watching HR have sex with other men? I don’t doubt it.

In my area, if a car has been broken into, LE takes report at the scene. Now upon leaving, should he see me or someone else outside, maybe doing lawn work, he might pull in & ask if we saw or heard unusual activity & tell us a car was robbed. He wouldn’t note speaking to us as an interview.
Plus, it could put LE in a dangerous situation to put himself in an enclosed area (house) with multiple persons. If he’s interviewing #1, where the hell are the other 3 & what are they doing? A secluded place would really pose a danger. It would take longer for LE to arrive if back-up needed. If LE enters a home to conduct an interview with a person suspected in the cold blooded murder of 8, he’d be really ignorant, IMO. He’d have no idea if someone might be overpower him. He wouldn’t even know the head count in any given house he entered.

Yea, if they wanna live.
If an officer entered my house right now to ask me questions about crime on my road, he has absolutely no idea if there’s 3 cop hating, armed men in a closet, bedroom, etc. Even if he’s called off, my imaginary guests have the advantage.

You are probably correct but something was different with that interview on 5/3 compared to the others for it to be wrote that way. Jmo

Maybe a dif’ LE or agency? Idk, just a guess.
If AW/JW interviewed together, I envision this:

LE: was it hot yesterday?

AW: omg, yes, sweltering horrible heat & humidity.
JW: Yea, just like my mom said

LE: What time did you eat dinner yesterday?

AW: around 7
JW: Whatever time my mom said

LE: What time did you get up today?

AW: Around 8
JW: If mom says 8 that’s what I’m going with

So, there’d be no point in a joint sit down. IMO, they’d have to be in separate rooms with each interviewer asking the exact question of each person. Then, compare results. Just like jailing multiple suspects prior to trial. Keep them separated. Even in patrol cars. Separate them. LE wants no collusion. Now, it’s not always possible to have separate cars to haul them in as some LE cars are not adequately equipped to transport perps, but they’d be recorded.
As they say, it’s easier to remember the truth than a lie.

****wanted to add, JW had the same smirk at his arraignment we noticed him having during his pretrial. I think (due to his naïveté & possible immaturity) he enjoys the attention he’s getting. Jmo

If they were close and on good terms in 2014, she may have given him passwords to her accounts. She may have used his phone or other device and had her password saved on them for easier access. LE can't ask her. Yes, he could monitor her SM and e-mail activities then and after the break up if she didn't change them. We just don't know what LE is referring to on this....

That is quite a stretch from what we information we have.
