And sometimes, it's just because someone wants to say something they thought of & had the time to do it?
Could be that, along with a great deal of very"transparent probing and provoking", for the answer they seek ...I am speaking specifically in terms of posting others thoughts, comments, and links...
No judgement or criticism intended,
Just an observation, but strictly my opinion.

Cannabis operation = Cash
*advertiser censored* Fighting = Cash
Car Selling = Cash
Car Derby = Cash

This is the point I have been trying to make all along. Either they stepped on someone's toes, or someone already had an "operation" in place, and the R's wouldn't go along with "the program".

(I am going to try and add others quotes in....don't know how to do it at the same time.)

I'm thinking LE is leaning away from the FB threat by those teens. It's still certainly a possibility I just can't see how towing multiple cars from the scene fits with that. I'm not sure those teens were even able to leave their own vehicle much less get far enough to touch all those vehicles. I know the FB threat was horrible but LE has their DNA don't they and they are still free. LE would probably not put additional resources towards other areas if they were fixated on the teen FB threat. Of course anything is possible. IMO.

I think they're casting a wide net trying to discover connections outside the county. I think they're looking into any possible connections between those cars and other crimes (like drive bys) elsewhere.

Wow, what is word for word? I don't think we should bring this in the thread for 8 murdered family members. jmo I'd pm a moderator.
I would agree 100% , considering that this is still an unsolved case and that while this is a very regulated forum, that site is very much the opposite...
Just my opinion, I have been a member of websleuths for quite a few years...
I have never posted as much in any forum as this one... Why?
I really don't know except that this case has absolutely terrified and fascinated me at the same time...
Years ago, (early 70's), something very similar happened to some distant family members, the similarities are striking, down to the fact of a 3 year child being left alive, while at least 10 others in the same family were killed...

Hi Everyone,

Please remember it is against the rules to post and tell or ask someone to send you a PM. We had to remove countless posts all talking about sending or receiving private messages.

Please, don't do this anymore Okay?

If it keeps happening we'll start issuing time-outs and that is the last thing I want to do.

Thanks,
Tricia (The grumpy owner)

Possibly I myself have a strong opinion that this has nothing to do with the cartel or the mj I really haven't gotten into the theroys of multiple business etc as I believe this was more personal. I read everyone's thoughts take a mental note but haven't really researched any further on those matters because i have a certain theroy in my head.

I think your correct but an opinion is just that an opinion everyone doesn't have to agree with everyone if that happened we couldn't accomplish anything. I'm not sure a person who seeks agreement constantly of the opinion even belongs in a forum full of multiple opinions...lol. I throw my occasional thought out there if nobody responds I just move on.

I agree 100%! The other day I felt like people were repeatedly trying to beat their opinions into my brain with a stick.

I skipped a lot of pages that day.
LOL

You don't seem THAT grumpy to me. ;)

i think your misunderstanding what I'm saying, I'm just saying for example IJ as we are allowed to speak of him here was to post something on fb that might be relevant I would want to give the info the exact way it is wrote. Anyways I'm sorry that this case has struck a button for you I think many can relate in one way or another.

I believe that is what this forum is for. You don't have to agree with somebody else. :) All theories are welcome as long as the rules are followed. :)

We were happily skipping along together! And that is EXACTLY, what I was referring to...

thats horrible I hate cases like that this one gives me enough emotions. I am sporadically following the Beavers case as that is happening where I'm originally from, that case is kind of freaky too

Goodnight all. My brain is done for the night. :) Crossing fingers that there will be arrests in the AM.

2 weeks after eight Pike County killings, what's not known
Where are the search warrants?

The Ohio Attorney General's Office says more than 100 items of evidence have been collected and sent to a laboratory for DNA, ballistics and other analysis.

What exactly are those items? Beyond several vehicles towed away from Rhoden family property on Tuesday, it is anyone's guess.

Five search warrants have been served in connection with the investigation, authorities have said. Four of the locations include where the bodies were found, but the fifth location has not yet been disclosed.

Only two search warrants have been returned and filed with the Pike County Clerk of Court's Office. Both have been sealed.

The search warrants are not public record until they have been filed, and are not available once they have been sealed.

According to the Pike County Clerk of Court's office, the most recent search warrant was filed Thursday, and the first returned April 27. Even the motion and order to seal the search warrants have been sealed.

Dan Tierney, a spokesman for the Attorney General's Office, previously told Gannett Ohio that search warrants had not been filed because the crime scenes were still active. However, an earlier news release from the Attorney General's Office issued April 23 said work at each of the crime scenes was completed.

The county clerk's office said she expects the rest of the search warrants will be sealed, along with the motion and order to seal them.

Even motions to seal have been sealed

Guys, the towing of the cars doesn't mean they have anything to do with the crime. In my opinion it's part of fully processing the crime scene. They HAVE TO DO THAT and here's why. Let's say they end up arresting a few perps and it goes to trial. If they haven't thoroughly searched and examined everything on that property...including all vehicles...then the defense can accuse the prosecution of not doing a proper thorough job. I can see a defense attorney pulling out a bag of cocaine and lying and saying...this bag was found in X car on that property that they never even searched! Thereby he creates reasonable doubt an a competing narrative of the prosecution's case which could confuse the jury and provide reasonable doubt. Because of this it is law enforcement's duty to examine every single thing at a crime scene...they can't leave any stone untouched so that they don't provide an easy out for the defense team. A number of people on this forum know that I believe the perps are the group of kids that have had run-ins with the Rhodens. Processing the cars the way they have been in no way hurts that theory...in fact it strengthens it if anything because if they really thought these cars were an intrinsic part of the crime...they would have been taking evidence off of them two weeks ago...not the last two days.

................

Motions to seal would reveal the name/s on the search warrant/s ... they are being very careful to avoid such information getting out into the public domain to avoid speculation and potential harm to the person or people involved. LE has to be ultra-cautious in such high profile, media intense cases.

I know, it's just more frustration is all. Hopefully by them playing it close to the vest, the evidence is iron-clad and they get a conviction. That's really the only thing that matters here.
