I'm asking in regards to them telling us it was more than one murderer. Someone is still suggesting it is only one person. Would they deliberately tell us 1+ if they indeed know it's only one?

I only give theories based on facts vs hearsay. In press conferences(if my memory atm is thinking clearly, have a headache, ugh)I don't recall LE telling the public how many people were involved.

I "think" that question may have been asked but I "think" it was either No Comment or We can't say for certain. Would have to go back and review the pressers.

Thanks again ~

What would be the point?

Thanks for providing the link sumzero :)

As far as protection for the properties, conditions, and value, I would have to say DeWine/LE are involved more into trying to solve the case. I don't know how removing evidence would take value from the properties, etc. Personally I couldn't look at the homes sitting there everyday.

I view it this way(ALL JMHO)if this were my family of 8 that was murdered in cold blood, I would say "do what you need to do and solve this". My family comes first, regardless.

Also, I am not familiar with the value of properties in Ohio. Sumzero's link has good information!

Again all of these are my opinions.

Thanks ~
I wasn't suggesting it would take value from the properties. Protecting the properties from vandalism would protect the value of them.

I just wanted to remind everyone of Charlie's earlier words. BBM

It was there, in his usual straightforward and direct manner, that Reader told the family this was no random act, that the Rhodens had been targeted for a reason. And he told them he believed that someone sitting inside that house of God knew why.

“It didn’t make everybody happy to hear that,” he said in an interview on Tuesday. “In fact, it made some of them angry. But I want people to know this: Every decision I make in this case is deliberate, and everything I say is thought through. My job is to protect the integrity of this case and to solve it. We only get one chance to do it right.”

The consensus of posters here seemed to indicate two or more killers. Not everyone agreed, of course. I'm still on the fence myself.

ETA: Do we have any verified insiders? Most of the cases I've followed have had at least one. MOO

Hi Jax49 :)

Not sure if rsd is verified, but is very intuitive about this case.

Thanks ~

This was in regard to Ray's post that he still believes there is only one killer.

Yes, I understood. I should have indicated I was just jumping off your post (not questioning you).

Yes, I was referring to LE stating one or more killers in their videos. Here at WS, some of us feel one person could have pulled this off, and some of us feel like at least two people were involved.

It was stated by LE it was more than one although not in those words exactly.

:tyou:

Respectfully, I do not understand how posting someone else's theory is different than me posting it as my theory on here.

Don't think your reply addresses my theory. Thanks for thoughts tho. I am suggesting money laundering possibly being revealed as motive for murders. For instance....murderers tell CRSR et al that they need to do blah blah blah....CRSR says no way man, we will rat you on money laundering...goodbye to all who know or are percieved to know of money laundering scheme. The ML folks, white collar criminals, don't want to do time and lose their status and their assets. They call in favor which results in murder of Rhodens, or they could pay for assassinations in kind.

I've never been 100% convinced the Rhoden's weren't involved in some money laundering of their own. Do you think if they did threaten to rat someone out, it could have been done anonymously? Pike County seems to be cracking down on all sorts of drug operations, including marijuana grows. Which if they drew any attention to themselves, it would put their grows at risk.

Calling in favors and/or paying for hits is certainly believable to me at this point.

JMO.

Yes, Ray has stated more than once he believes this was the work of one person. I would certainly not dispute his word, I always have that in the back of my mind, but I have a hard time with one person getting around to four different homes and away from all of the scenes before bodies were starting to be found! I just wish we had TOD, surely that would be a big help in trying to figure all this out!

Hi glf :)

Mine is as always:

•Cartel (no clue how many people would be involved)

•Rogue Cop: (no clue how many people would be involved)

All again, are opinions of mine

Thanks ~

I'm just asking for his opinion on what the reasoning might be for LE to deliberately misinform the public by stating there was more than one killer. I'm just interested with all his expertise for his thoughts.

Thence my take on this would meaning evidence points to more than one perpetrator, at that given time.

Thanks ~

Same here! And remember AG Mike is a lawyer, and I believe they are taught to talk in "riddles". They can say the same thing six different ways, and never give you more info than you had before the speech!

True and Charlie is not a lawyer. IMO Charlie has told us a lot more than some of us have comprehended ;)

depends on what, how, who, the situation involves. I'm not saying tell the public flat out lies, but le have ways of "saying things" that one may have to read between the lines. Le will not compromise an investigation.
