BJ wasn't looking for shell casings. Most likely, she was doing her best to try and keep some of her thoughts together. Which I would think that would be a great task, finding two relatives dead. Chris had two shots to the head, and Gary had three. There's no way either of them could have crawled anywhere.

A quick google search reveals that only 66% of head shots end in mortality. Even 25% of people that shoot them self don't die. I agree multiple shots to the head your dead. But if any of these numbers are remotely realistic it would indicate there is a possibility someone could easily survive a short time and potentially drag themselves a shot distance.

Does anyone else think it odd BJM through it all showed no concern for her sister DR?

My opinion on bullet casings. Them things tend to go different directions when expelled from a gun. I don't think the shooter is going to be looking behind chairs, under couches for a spent casing.

Far as dragging the two to a bedroom...dead weight is HEAVY. Person would have to be healthy to do that.
Bigger question WHY on earth would they move them ???

We know CR was apparently primary victim...why move him and GR to another area in a mobile home after the fact? If they were indeed moved, seems this is key.

So the only thing other than BJM having people with her when she found them that stands out to me isn't about her at all but the question LE asked her was it "how much were you paid to kill your family"? So did LE believe at that time anyway it was a paid hit? Or that it appeared that inside of a job only close family could have done it?

Do we have any other questioning type statements like that from anyone else?

That I am not sure of but they zoomed in on her pretty fast. There has been so much to digest..I am of the notion to go back,, look at the beginning. The answer may be there.

I'll never understand the selection of the stuff they "impounded". I understand to some extent the homes since they are the murder scenes. Why did they leave some cars, trailers, trucks behind but take a rusty old tractor? I mean if you look at the pictures why take this and not that? Or any of that junk at all? If it was a question of is this one of the deceased cars they use but clearly not, they were wrecked missing motors etc. Why? And did they just sit there for the period of time never even being touched before being returned?

We need a timeline of events like they pull BJM out bed. A few days later reader says this. Reader says this is bigger then weed. They return the cars. (This is all typed as example nothing accurate used as far as timeframe or quotes)

I feel like if someone was good at putting something like this together with the correct information we could get a feel of where this case was at and maybe get a feel for where it could be going.

I think BJ was in such a sensory overload at first that she didn't think beyond where she was and DR didn't come to mind at first.
I think CR1 and GR were moved so they couldn't be seen through a window if someone came by. That would delay them being found if no one could see them if they looked through windows when no one answered the door. I think the window being open could be for different reasons. One would be to make it look like that was how entry was gained with locked doors. The other would be to change how fast the bodies cooled to make it harder to determine actual time of death if it really was a pro hit. LE knows an accurate time of death but has not let that be known. There could be a gap of hours between the deaths of some of the victims. CR1 and GR could have been dead before DR got off work for all we know. The killer(s) could have been to her house and killed the kids before she got home. We just do not know from what has been released.

The vehicles were impounded to check Vins to see if they were stolen. That also gave them a chance to check them for hidden compartments and drug residue. It also kept them from being stolen.

Is it known where DR was living before CRsr bought her the trailer a mile down the road the month before the murders?

A single gsw, possibly, but they rec'd multiples to the head, and CR1 rec'd multiples to the torso in addition to the head shots. Drag marks would also look different than crawl marks.

Iirc there is only one window, and a door, on the front of CR1's trailer. Why move them to a bedroom with a window (if that's the window that BJM is talking about. Otherwise she noted one on the ends or backside of the trailer) and why cover CR1?.

I don't think for one minute they ever thought she killed anybody. They seem to enjoy putting people thru the wringer to shake them up. See if their story will change.
From what we have learned about her, I don't believe she is any more capable of killing her family than my three year old grandson is. As far as her not expressing concern for Dana, she didn't have a clue Dana was also dead, and luckily, she didn't discover them too. I'm pretty sure when her dad got there, he sent James to Dana's house to get her. Then James walked in and found her.
As far as Chris and Gary being moved, obviously the killers did not want somebody to look in the window of the door and see them both lying in the living room dead.

That is what I have seen as well. One window in the front and a door under the porch, I have searched for a picture of the trailer that shows under the awning at the front door, can't find one. What images I have seen it appears there is no window at the door. But jmo there is a window to the left of the door that we can not see. Looking at the windows jmo to the right of CRsr's trailer is a bedroom and probably 2 bedrooms in the rear. Seeing pictures of CRsr's trailer showing the back side there is a dryer vent, I don't see a vent for the stove and am thinking it to is in the front center under the awning on the front porch. next to the window that is not visible. If anyone has or can a picture of the front under the awning please post.
I wonder if they were in the room to the right of the door, that shows the front window open.

Think I found CRsr's trailer that shows a window to the left of the door, second trailer back in photo at link.

Why you think CR was primary victim ?

One possibility is to move them back to their room where they should die like all the others. In their bedroom with a sheet

CR1 was primary as he more than likely had the most shots (9) as his autopsy stated that he was hit in the head, torso, and neck. I do not go with the theory that CR1 was shot through the window as it would have woke up GR who was asleep in the front. If BJM knew where the keys were, I am sure the murderers knew also. Maybe, that when they were entering the trailer that a fight ensued and both were shot in the living room and dragged back to the bedroom, as someone said, "for no one to see through the window." I wonder what type of rounds were used? I also think it would be good to have a family news conference on the anniversary, with the babies, family, and have Jenna speak.

Jenna? Are you referring to Chris and Kenny's mom, Geneva?
