When I first heard the 8th body was found hours later and miles away, my first thought was he was the shooter and had gone off and committed suicide. But then the police ruled out suicide. Why? Because of lack of a weapon being nearby? With family members being at the scenes first, they could have taken the weapon away. Of course there would be gun residue found later, but it sounds like the ruled out suicide immediately and the only reason I can see to rule it out that quickly is the lack of a gun present. So, in my mind, I still haven't ruled it out totally. I wish we knew who had the single gunshot wound.

I wonder if he was shot first? I wonder if he had keys to the other 2 locations.?

The LE probably love Donald and Leonard.
His story is interesting. Especially about the dog, money, and only having one gun shot wound.

While it is interesting that only 1 victim had one GSW which would suggest a murder suicide, I don't think it was. I'm pretty sure they would know that by now and would have released the information, if nothing else to put the community at ease. The autopsy would have shown if any of the GSWs were self inflicted.

Thing is they don't seem to want to put the community at ease. They have had, what.. Two pressers and haven't been giving good info.

You know the LE and AG etc doing these interviews could be like ol Bill Clinton slick willy he had a way with wording. They maybe sticking to their story and when saying it was a planned execution, could very well have been just may have been planned by one of deceased a planned m/s
Ha. Seriously splitting hairs but even an unplanned bloodbath is technically "planned" the microsecond the killer aims the gun...

Well we did find out that two homes had forced entry, we don't know which ones those were though.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is touring all four #PikeCounty murder locations.

No idea.. Also even though he was the 8th discovered, he could be the first victim.

I had kind of been thinking that he was the one the killers took with him to the other locations. So no problems with the dogs or gaining entry. Then take him home and kill him last. If there were signs of forced entry in some locations, I guess that I'll need a new theory!

If anyone sees a link where the presser will be live, please post it. There is a lot of political stuff happening today, not sure some would break in for the presser for this.

from the Dispatch article:
The decks at some of the 300-plus permanent campsites at Big Bear Lake Family Resort in Lucasville look ripped from the pages of a magazine about mansions. They are multi-level and ornate, with octagonal roofs, fancy finials and intricate detail.
Chris Sr. worked for resort owner Robin Waddell at this and another campground for more than 20 years. When he worked, his hands infused love and pride into every board, Waddell said.
“He was the most talented carpenter I’d ever seen,” Waddell said. “And he was a great friend."

From the BBL website (wondering if it's CR Sr's work)

Under one of the pictures of the Daily Mail article, it says Kenneth had "dollars bills strewn from his knees to his feet".

My first thought reading this was that someone was there to collect a debt, and KR didn't have the money... He could have tried to appease the killer by handong over what cash he did have and the killer was "insulted" by how little it was... Killed KR and tossed the money back at him like an "FU".

That was another thing.. the DA said he would not tell if there was forced entry or not to any homes. Within an hour it was released there was forced entry into two.

Let me just say that my grandmother sold the property next to her youngest son and his wife and child. My grandmothers other son lives 7 miles from this location, if my grandmother and her son and family next door were found dead I would NOT think that my uncle 7 miles away would be dead as well. jmo
No, but maybe if family started calling each other to let know of the situation that had happened, and say they couldn't reach him, and he hasn't replied to texts or phone calls, that might prompt you that something was up, so you go check on him as well.

Yes, we know those things because both Bobbie Jo and Leonard have said this is what happened and if there is a trial one day I am sure both will testify this is what they did. I am not sure how important it will be though just because she checked on two families in different homes. That is understandable to me she would do so especially when she had just found two family members murdered in one home close by.

I am somewhat confused with the dissection of Bobbie Jo's statements. Do you believe she is a part of this somehow? If she was covering up something would she then come out to the media and address what she saw and where she went that morning knowing LE is certainly listening to the news as well. I don't think she would. It seems she has been quite open about what she saw and where she went.

Personally, I think it causes confusion just like in so many other cases when we don't know everything that was told to LE after they arrived. If she went into both homes I have no doubt she told that to the police upon their arrival and that is all that really matters.

I do know if I had found some of my family members dead in their home... the first thing I would do if other family members lived close... I would rush to check on them immediately to see if they were all okay or I would be screaming for them to come to where the others were found. I wouldn't want to be standing there alone waiting for the police to come. If possible, I would want my family members there with me. I am sure she immediately alerted some of her family members to what she had found.

Do we have an arrival time for LE when they arrived after being called? Wouldn't it take a few minutes for them to get there since these properties were out in a rural area?

Eventually all of Bobbie's statements will make sense when we know all of the story if and when the suspects are found and brought to trial. I don't think she has a clue what happened to her family but wants justice done for all of them.

It is quite common for LE to not tell everything they know. So what happened that morning when the victims were first being found we wont know all of the details of how it actually unfolded, minute by minute, but that never means LE isn't already fully aware of the timeline, and steps taken by Bobbie Jo that day and any other family members who were there..

I am way behind all you east coasters. But I will try to answer. I totally disagree about what my actions would be. If I found one set of family members dead, the LAST thing I would do is go look for more. I would be so completely freaked out, I would sit down and wait for the police. While I was waiting, I would probably call my husband or parents both to tell them and to get some consolation. But I would not ever, no way, no how, run into another home on the property. First, I wouldn't want to take the chance of seeing more dead bodies. I would know that they are most likely also dead because they HAD TO have heard what happened next door last night. And since Frankie and Hannah aren't sitting outside with me, and they didn't call the police, they most likely are also dead. I wouldn't want to see that. I also know that I would be contaminating a crime scene. I wouldn't want to do that. I would also fear that the killer could still be inside.

To me, it is an incredibly incriminating action to purposely enter a crime scene (or THREE). You are creating a reason for your DNA and trace evidence to be found in those homes.

Now, Bobby Jo might not be that smart. Is entirely possible that her actions are innocent. But to me, knowing what I know, they look incredibly suspicious.

ETA: The most suspicious thing to me is that BJ asked the police to leave her alone. I would be TERRIFIED that I would be a target if I was the #1 witness/body-finder. I would want the police around 24-7 for protection. She asked them to leave her alone.

And it should be noted that LE also finds her suspicious, as they busted into her house at 3:41 am to question her.

<snip>

The second 911 call hours later bothered me from the get-go. Kenneth was the only one supposedly shot while alone. What prompted the cousin to check on him hours later? Did he go around checking on other family members? And why did he wait so long? He seemed really calm on the 911. Could the murderer be hiding in plain sight? Could he and Kenneth be who they are looking for and after killing everyone else, they went back to Kenneth's house and the cousin double crossed Kenneth and shot him too? Then he called 911 and looked like an innocent, concerned family member.

I think ink this family knows a lot they aren't saying. What was Leonard threatening to reveal if they didn't return his son's truck?
:welcome:
Could it be;the murders were staged to look like a cartel including the symbolic $$$dollar bills strewn on feet?
:cow:

The daily mail article that was posted gives the story of the one that found Kenneth and why he went looking for him.

Daily Mail can be hit or miss, so don't take it as you would from CNN.

ok, I went and read it. A few things jumped out.
Why didn't he spend the night with Kenneth as he had planned?
Why didn't he go over there earlier as he had already planned to go work on cars with him in the morning?
Just seemed strange that he had these plans with Kenneth and didn't go over there until he got "suspicious" later in the day.
Why would there be blood everywhere if he was shot once in the head in bed?
How did he know he only had one shot to the head?
Why did he say I looked UP and saw him on the 911 call? Was he in a bunk bed? Maybe, beings as it was a camper.
Dollars strewn around his legs? Staged to throw the police off to think it was some drug gang sending a message? Weird!

Unless you had knowledge that your uncle was involved in the same things that most likely got the rest of your family killed. Doesn't explain the delay though.
