Actually, a few have been mentioned in previous threads. A father who was a cop killed his wife and the three year old son told police that daddy hurt mommy and she was in a rug.

There was also another case of a mother that was raped and murdered by the garbage man and her 3 year old daughter was left alive and was able to identify the man.

And quite a few cases where testimony from young children was just plain wrong and resulted in wrong people imprisoned. Basically, one can not rely on testimony from a young child for the most parts.

You can argue there is no proof that these kids were left alive for a reason, but there is no proof they weren't left alive for a reason either.

This is true, of course. That' s my point! Neither scenario has given us enough evidence to support it without reservation. So we just need to add JMO or "I think" when tossing opinions out there.

But then again the Wilkensburg slaughter is unsolved.......(drugs, custody etc)

LM at one point mentions custody, but he's mentioned a lot. I'm sure he's thinking of all possible motives, as are we, since we all have VERY little information to go on. LM also stated he had no idea about the grow operations, which could be true, though I don't know I would admit to having that knowledge if I'm scared someone is going to come kill me if I say I knew about it.

Not to mention DR recently moved into that house. And based on LM I believe, that would CRjr and HR just moved there, if they were in fact living there like family states.

And don't forget the start of Turkey Hunting Season. - Reason to be in woods, armed, wearing camouflage...

My original statement had JMO And like I stated, it was generalized. Every theory I come up with, I can come up with one to against. The truth is, we have such little information, anything is possible. This family was involved in illegal activities, this family had enemies, and this family has some twists that can't be discussed. I, like everyone else, comes up with theories and reasonings, and then I shoot my own theory down and come up with a new one. There are MANY scenarios that are possible, it's confusing, and I can understand why LE is having a hard time tracking it down.

We don't know for sure. All but one were shot more than once and we do know many were shot in other parts of their body, we don't know who or where.

I honestly think this whole part of the debate is irrelevant. (And I don't mean you or your post just quoting something regarding this part of discussion) I believe the children were not harmed because they had no reason to be harmed. You guys are coming to the same consensious, that the children were intentionally not harmed. I think that is what matters, not trying to find out the reason why.

I think there's multiple legitimate theories out there as to why the children weren't harmed. But it's unlikely that's the key piece, jmo. Whatever ends up coming out of all this, sure, one of those theories should fit why the children weren't harmed.

Or it could be for none of the theories mentioned and they just didn't want to hurt kids, who knows. jmo.

Part of me still goes on the crazy theory that there is a hit out for more people or that someone that's alive was the target and this was a warning. Again, I can find 9,000 reasons that isn't accurate. This whole thing is mind blowing. Obviously, there are reasons that someone would be after the Rhoden's killed, including why their children had to be taken out. KR is the weird one. It's all weird. I wish we had even just a tiny bit more information, but understand holding things close to the vest. Obviously. JMO.

No but we do know that one (1) was shot once and that two (2) were shot three (3) times.

One victim was shot once; one was shot twice; two victims were shot three times; one victim was shot four times; two victims each had five gunshot wounds and one victim had nine gunshot wounds, according to the coroner’s office.

I'm new to message boards, I apologize. I tried to state over and over that everything I say is my opinion from things I've read and analyzed. I didn't know JMO or really what that meant. But I always try to say that I'm just stating my own opinion as to what I think happened.

I have nothing to back up my theories, they're just my own - and while I may feel strongly about them - they're just an opinion.
