Shes holding something in her hand as she's walking in the gas station door? Is it money? What did she buy?

Also, she looks alert. Taking a big stride, eyes wide open. Determination on her face. Does not appear injured nor distressed.

Was it cold? Her nose is red. Her other hand is bunched up in her sleeve.

The car could have been left running, until it ran out of gas and being that the doors were found open, the interior light would have stayed on...until it drained the battery. Was it both front doors left open? Like a panicked stop, jump out of the car and run, someone in the passenger seat opening the door and running after her? ....scary.

what purpose would she have to be out there at all? If she was using again, could she have become disoriented, and accidentally caused her own outcome?

Long-time GF, 26, and the mother of his 3 children,passed in late March 2014; funeral held in April 2014. The 3 children are living with the GF's father.

Divers are in the water heading into early evening after search-and-rescue dogs alerted law enforcement to search an area in the river near Higby Road today for any sign of 20-year-old Shasta Himelrick.

Ross County Sheriff George Lavender said this afternoon that search-and-rescue dogs have responded in certain areas in the search area around Higby Road where there may be a traceable scent. Divers from Franklin County have been called to help continue the search until the sun sets...

Surritt said the dog stopped at the end of the trail and found items nearby that were of interest to the sheriff's department. It was then that another dog trained in tracing human remains was used and indicated an area in the river where the search with divers continues.

Reading her FB she was thrilled about her pregnancy and very proud.
As a parent, I am wondering how her family fell about this news.
Not condeming anyone, but could it of been a shock? Did they not respond the way she wanted?
Could this be why she drove so far away to think?

I'm assuming since he is not named a POI we cannot sleuth. There is an MSM link on her FB page. Charges are unrelated according to the article.

his article says they think they are closer to finding her body................does not sound like they are searching for Shasta alive...........very sad

Ross County court records show Himelrick was convicted of possession of drugs - heroin in May of 2013. She was sentenced to community control and jail. Investigators are not saying if drugs are involved with the three women still missing.
