I hope the APB for the couple and car is nationwide and a little bit desperate...if they are alive, they need help fast. Do we know if the suspect has guns? I'm wondering if he had one when he abducted these people, which is what I am assuming he did.

I can't remember which link it was in but the last anyone saw of SL was on Tuesday.
Wednesday night/ Thursday morning the Police discovered Tiffany"s body.

The Russells haven't been seen or heard from since Wednesday.

Why isn't this national news? They have been missing for more than 24 hours, right?? This guy has potentially killed 3 people in less than a week.....at the very least he has killed one and has kidnapped 2 people. He could be anywhere by now. I'm fairly confident he isn't anywhere near Harrison, Oh.

ITA...IT SHOULD BE BREAKING NEWS ON EVERY CHANNEL. OMG IM SO UPSET. :banghead:

Here's my thought on something, and people probably aren't going to like me for it, BUT (I must add my info. could be wrong)

Depending on when Sam was last seen by family, surely they had to know the truck was missing as well. Why wasn't it ever mentioned that he could possibly be missing in this truck.

The neighbors said they saw the truck sitting for days....would they have called the police to report it, if they had known that the truck was suspected to be missing with the suspect. Everyone in Logan County was aware of the situation, and just letting people know he's on the loose would be enough to make everyone's eyes glued to every truck they would see.

Would they have been able to search for him sooner, possibly preventing the elderly couple from being missing?

I asked the same question this morning. What about his car???? They can't find him and LE never said anything about what car he was driving. WTH

Major screwup.

I don't think so. I think she and/or her father were taken by Tiffany's murderer because he needed to ditch his vehicle quickly. I wonder if they live within walking distance from where his car was left....or if he pulled over and faked car trouble and they picked him up thinking he needed help.

I am just catching up but I remember the article said this afternoon when they found his car, his car was not there at 9am. So hopefully he did not get to far.

I see him giving her some excuse for why he needed some time away. That he was just too emotional, too upset, too overwhelmed, etc. Weren't they keeping the children too by this point??

Honestly, I've been with my husband for 10 years. If he said he needed to be alone for a few days after such an emotional event, I wouldn't think much of it.....I might be a little sad that he would leave me to deal with the emotions by myself, but I wouldn't remotely think that he wanted to skip town because he was involved in the murder of my child...a child he has known for more than a decade.
They were together 16 years. That's a LONG time to hide your 'murdering side'. imho

If my child was missing and my husband took off, even though we have been together 26 years, I would be pretty perplexed. I would think the very last thing he would do while his child was missing, would be to leave town. IMO
It would make me quite suspicious.

Tiffany's mother not a suspect

Investigators said today Tiffany Brown’s mother, Deborah Neeley, is not a suspect in the 26-year-old mother’s death.

Bellefontaine Police Chief Brad Kunze issued the release around 1:30 p.m. and in it said, “Initial media reporting has incorrectly construed the origin of an article of clothing which appeared to be blood stained.”

Investigators believe the clothing belongs to Samuel Littleton II.

“Deborah Neeley, Tiffany’s mother, is not a suspect in this matter and reports or speculation to the contrary are incorrect,” Chief Kunze wrote.

IMO That is why LE should hold a News Conference

ITA, especially with scratches on him.

So...why did LE notice the blood stained clothing, but Deb Neeley didn't? Did she notice the scratches on his neck?? How about her truck missing? Did she notice that?

I'm still stunned that she wasn't concerned when the babysitter called at 11:30 on Fri. night and reported Tiffany missing!! HINK!!

I don't get that either. My mother lives 1500 miles away- a few weeks ago I posted I was going running after work on Facebook- about about 3 hours later my mom tried to call me- I didn't get the message until about 10 PM- by 10:15 my mom had called again worried that I had not from running. Maybe my mom is very protective, but id the timeline from Tiffany's case occurrred when I lived close to my mom, she probably would have called the State Police and The Nat'l Guard.

Mods.......should Gladius and Richard Russell have their own thread now as missing?

Now we've gone from a senseless crime involving a family to something involving an innocent elderly couple. For some reason, and maybe it's because it's happening right here, this new development is something I can't wrap my head around. Truly everybody knows or knows of everybody else here in Logan County. I probably drive by the Littleton/Neeley home on Eastern Avenue several times a week, and my fiance drives by the areas near the elderly couple's home twice a day on his way to and from work. I guess having all this "hit home" for me is mind boggling!

I live in Cincinnati and I passed an Artemis sign across I-71 this morning that said MISSING ADULTS, gave a car description and license plate number, CALL 911. It may help. I realized I was paying much closer attention to all of the cars on the highway after I saw the sign.

The chopper is very focused on this white house (the Russell home?). There is yellow police tape all along one perimeter of the property. I don't see many officers though. Strange.
