O/T My hubby has hunted deer since he was a teenager. He is currently sitting at his desk with a blind, brain damaged kitten (whom he dotes over) in his lap, and a full grown siamese (whom he bottle fed as a kitten) laying half across his arms while he works. He's a big fat softie.

Lower Gambier Rd would be a good place to commit a crime it seems. From the map, it looks like there aren't many homes along this woody area. And it provides access to the river just south. This isn't looking good at this point. I just hope they find these 3 people today since it appears they are on the right track.

this was just the bond hearing/bond set for the kidnapping charges. more charges (and thusly more added bond) could be coming.

I don't think he is going anywhere on that bond.

We were talking about him possibly not being able to carry out a grown adult female. Sorry, but the looks of this picture alone makes me think otherwise.

It is always a bad idea to make blanket statements about anything because the odds are high you will be wrong.

Hunters hunt, Farmers raise food, game wardens thin the herds, exterminators kill pests-- all of these have one thing in common- they kill animals but they are far from being serial killers or psycho's.


But I think we can find common ground to agree on- hunting aside if he really did torture and kill DOGS/pets that is an entirely different thing.

A judge set bond on Tuesday at $1 million for a man suspected of kidnapping a Knox County teenager.
A judge ordered that Matthew Hoffman, 30, post the full bond in order to be released from custody, 10TV's Maureen Kocot reported.

In most cases, people held on charges are required to pay 10 percent of the bond total.

Hoffman was scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 23 at 2:30 p.m.

I am not suprised that they are looking in the lower gambier rd area. I believe this is the best place to search. The tarp/bags where found about a half mile from the truck and when the truck was found they had seen and questioned MH. He was by a bike trail (gambier rd?). I dont think he was siting there watching the truck because he had no idea WHEN they would find the truck, I think (just like many serial killers) he had gone back to where the victims where for some sick perverse reason. I really think,IMO, that this is the area they're in.
