Well I missed the first few minutes and the video kept stopping so I may have missed it, but did the detective say anything about what the Uber driver and that friend had to say ? TIA

ETA: I was able to listen to the video again on their FB page and nothing was mentioned about the friend or Uber driver. And nothing new at all other than a lot of interest in the swampy area. Hard to believe he would have walked into the swamp, so if he's there maybe he was put there by someone though seems they would've gotten very, very wet in doing so.

Also, nothing after 3:53 a.m., is this because his phone battery died ?
Seeing that swamp and the large size of that area in this latest LE press conference video, it sure seems like it would be hard to search every single square inch effectively, although it sounds like they have. I wouldn't be surprised if LE gave it one last complete go-through! Also, I do think it is entirely possible that Tyler, in the dark and inebriated, had fallen into it as we have seen so many times in the past in other cases. Or that he met with foul play and was hidden in it. It does not seem like an easy area to transport a body out of.

I wish I was at that press conference. I would have asked him:

- how it's possible he's not on other security footage?
- was anyone else on the footage along that same route
- where was the phone when he asked for directions?
- did search dogs pick up any scent in that parking lot?
- did they have search dogs or cadaver dogs?
- is it possible Tyler got into a car (with someone) at the Abbott parking lot and left the parking lot that way?
- if he walked toward the building in the abbott parking lot, are there any cameras at the entrance of that building that SHOULD have footage of him?
- is there criminal activity going on around the Abbott parking lot?
- did the phone move at a speed corresponding to an intoxicated male that was lost?
- where was Tyler when Shaun last saw him? Did Shaun even go after Tyler?
- were there any incidents that night?
- have intoxicated males been hit on in that area?
- are there any other males of Tylers age/type missing or have gone missing over the past years under similar circumstances?
- is it possible the phone was in the possession of someone else? at least part of that route?
- does he think Tyler could have been drugged?
- why did the friend leave to go home and didn't help with the initial search?
All great questions. Sadly, some of them might have been answered had Tyler been found earlier in the investigation. Even if they find his remains now, certain things may not show up on tox screen.

bodies eventually rise to the surface of water, save for instances where they are lodged under/on something.

I have no reason to think LE are not working this case.

Tyler, we're still here for you. And for those who truly love and care about you - they are suffering.

I'm baffled as to why this minimal amount of information wasn't released months ago. I can't think of a reason.

The phone ping trail is a big deal. Why wouldn't LE release that earlier? I have attached a map showing Tyler movements before his phone died. His recording and movements strongly suggest someone who was lost. And inebriated.

His phone "dies" as he is leaving Abbott Labs. At the end of the parking lot. Second image shows the end of the parking lot. I notice numerous storm drains. An open storm drain might explain Tyler's phone dying, his disappearance, and no evidence of his body.

Lol :)
I don't think it was BF either.
Just that Paulides might have more insight as to where to look as he's investigated missing men by bodies of water.
There are many similarities. Including the last silent phonecall.
Wandering off, disorientated, weird phonecalls, disapearing 'into thin air' and later found in bodies of water.

I agree with you.

Anyone else wondering if in stead of asking his phone for directions, he could have been talking to someone?
Like a person that offered him a ride or an Uber?

Especially if he was at the Abbott parking lot when 'asking for directions".

To me, it seems like LE immediately suspected the wife and the friend, and focused on that angle without investigating other possibilities with much enthusiasm.

There’s info missing when it comes to them arriving at the hotel and getting out of the Uber. “He fell asleep and woke up extremely angry because he is always extremely angry when he is woken up, so he walked off and Friend followed him, but came back without him, and Tyler never returned.” Meanwhile, Brittany was at the hotel, in the hotel, in the room, in the lobby, outside, inside, lobby, all the while charging her phone in like one minute increments or something because charging her phone is why she stayed at the hotel.

I’m not saying either of them is responsible, but I believe there is info about their activities that has not been released to the public, and I believe that info is what has led police to be so quiet about things.

Agree, also if he’d fallen in the swamp or pond , it’s been reported here that it was shallow around the edges, not a drop off. If that’s true, wouldn’t his body still be around the edge where he went in? How would it drift out into deeper water on its own? Idk really, just questioning.

Yes, that’s the other thing, if he fell in by accident, very unlikely his body would have remained submerged.

I might be eating my hat, but I don’t think he’s there. My question is what did “someone” do with him?

Maybe because after all this time, they suspect someone did something to him. They’re not about to let onto that, but this is their way of asking for witnesses to come forward.
Keep in mind that this is just my own speculation and cynical thinking at work. ;)

ETA: Where is everyone, just realized I’m just talking to myself, LOL.

This is what I thought. He doesn't say hey Siri or okay google, does he?
