The update on this MSM link says "naked and crying".

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says that a homeowner on Oakland Road in Liberty Township found <M> naked and crying in her backyard.

She was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Shock and awe. Wow. Whoa. I must admit, I am shocked they found her alive. I bet she's been through hell.
At least, she has a second chance. She's alive. Wow.

Article above states she was unclothed when found. :(

Thank goodness she's alive!

Seems to me both statements can be true.
 
This one has certainly stunned me. I did not think she was coming back alive and I truly thank God I was wrong.

Just some thoughts;


I saw someone say that this may be a case where she simply walked away.

I don't know too many 6 year olds that would just wander off into the dark brush at that hour of the morning.


I'm holding my breath on the rest of the details. Hopefully she's just too young and will block this whole episode right on out.

IMO children need to process first with professionals. blocking it without processing will lead to problems later.

I'm so happy ... It's great when they come home alive:)

Yes, she will definitely need professional help. If M was violated in some way, she is definitely too old to block out the trauma. It is normal protocol to take her to the hospital for a physical examination regardless of any visible injuries. Especially since she was obviously dumped somewhere beyond the range of normal walking distance from her home and found naked. I sincerely hope that this little girl will come out of this ordeal okay. :(

I'm so thankful she was found alive but I would bet anything she's been through hell in the last 24 hours.

I hope to God someone cares enough about that child to put their own wants aside and get her the help she will surely need.
