Could this be the work of one individual... That takes these routes for his job?

For instance a truck driver...

Or....???

JMO...

They already have their suspect (s).just. need the body to tie it all together and bring closure to her family.

We still remember, and we are still looking.... and there's been an arrest!

Do they think if they don't tell where Annie is, things will be better for them? Do they think there's no evidence or the charge will be less? I guess some lawyer who doesn't have a missing a child is telling them to be quiet.

Possibly the location of her body will come into play after a verdict during sentencing or plea deal is negotiated.

On Dec. 19, at the request of the state, the accessory to first-degree murder charge filed against Chloe Thomas, 17, of Oklahoma City, was dismissed pending prosecution in juvenile court...

As of Wednesday, Raymond remained incarcerated in the Oklahoma County jail, according to jail records...

When prosecutors filed the charges, the victim’s body had not been recovered. Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said Wednesday to the best of her knowledge the search continues.

Hmmm...well that isn't good news. She is going to Juvie court and is a year older than Chadd Raymond.

Man that just lights me up! Our system is beyond flawed.

Chadd Phillip Raymond, 16, faces a first-degree murder charge and a Feb. 13 preliminary hearing conference. Chloe Thomas’, 17, preliminary hearing conference was scheduled for Dec. 22 (was dismissed on 12/19 and moved to juvie). At the time, Thomas was not in custody. Raymond remains incarcerated in the Oklahoma County jail.

Maybe Chloe would've given a location, if she could? She's the one who went to LE and gave up everything else. Maybe she genuinely doesn't know how to direct LE to the right patch of woods, or even in which direction from town to go. She was 15 when Annie Jo was killed, not even driving yet.

Edmond is like the northeastern tip of the OKC metro and it's all rural beyond there. You don't have to drive very far to find a wooded area that gets little to no human foot traffic, where a body could lay undiscovered for quite some time.

We aren't hearing about any organized searches. People should be out combing the area trying to find Annie Jo with or without LE.

I am a little skeptical of Chloe not knowing where they went to dispose of her. I would think a person would be in a heightened state after committing a murder and should have excellent recall as happens during traumatic events. Maybe they need to call in a hypnotist or a psychiatrist to jog her memory. Could be she is mentally blocking that particular part of the scenario?

Breaking down the Affidavit:

On Friday afternoon, Oct. 10, Thomas’ parents brought her to the Oklahoma City Police Department homicide office where her father told detectives she had confessed to being involved in Hill’s murder. After detectives read Thomas her rights, she agreed to speak with them. Thomas said herself, Raymond and Hill were at the Edmond apartment when Hill decided to leave and began walking toward the door. Thomas said Raymond allegedly attacked Hill and eventually strangled her until she died. Thomas said she and Raymond put Hill in the back seat of Hill’s car and drove to a wooded area in an unknown location. Thomas said she and Raymond placed Hill on the ground and covered her with sticks and brush. They drove Hill’s car back to Edmond, parked it in a neighborhood and walked back to the apartment. On May 1, Thomas told investigators she and Raymond tricked Hill into thinking she was the apartment resident.

Raymond was picked up Saturday morning. Investigators located Raymond at his school, Boulevard Academy in Edmond, where he admitted to knowing Hill, that he was staying in his brother’s apartment on Rankin Street, that Hill came over to the apartment on April 11 and that he, Hill and Thomas watched a movie. Raymond did not say anything about the alleged murder in the affidavit.

Thomas and Raymond told investigators the same story about Hill watching a movie with them before she went to a party on April 11. Hill had been reported missing since that time and her cell phone was turned off.

The most logical place would be straight down 15th street to Arcadia Lake. It is also the same street where they dumped her car at Hafer Park before walking back to the apartment. If you turn left onto Timberlake Avenue then turn onto Wilson...there is a short street called Scrub Oak Drive. There is a house toward the end, but beyond it is a small circle drive (or so it looks like on the map). The area is quite wooded and has easy access. That is where I would conduct a search.

Oh, definitely one of the things that drove me nuts in the early days of this case. I may have even grumped about it a time or two in this thread. There were calls to help pass out flyers, yes, but none to help search for Annie Jo. No ground searches of any kind that I can remember, other than her family members searching the park.
