Thanks for letting me know. I guess that particular picture was at one of those other cs
BBM: If your suggestion of her having stopped after midnight is correct I would like to further add that she looks relaxed and focused (as I mentioned in an earlier post) on getting back to her vehicle. If your suggestion is correct then I wonder if along her route before her last verified whereabouts she tended to stop for breaks to stretch and maybe close her eyes for a few moments when she felt tired. And during one of these breaks something happened, side of a highway, secluded reststop?when CRC stopped at Gainesville (and the gas station on the CCTV, which I'm 95% pretty sure is at the Red River Exxon in Gainesville) isn't confirmed and is part of what makes this so confusing, especially as OSBI specifically says it is from 8/5. Was she driving and stopped just after midnight on 8/5? It's a couple of hours away from her last known area of Pattonville at 7 pm on 8/5.
If perhaps as you suggest at the Gainesville Travel Information Center then away from the main building where I'm sure they would have CCTV footage. An unsavoury individual/s (?) may have taken advantage of that fact. And then possibly under duress she spoke to her family making it appear as if all was fine and she was alright, sadly. Or on the road you mentioned.So... if she is at the gas station in Gainesville sometime after midnight (early AM Aug 5)... and police don't think she made it into Oklahoma - Then the most logical place IMO for something to have happened to her is at the Gainesville Travel Center (basically a gigantic rest area). If she left that Exxon and traveled North on the I35 (or just stayed on the Frontage Road) - She would be there in <10min. It's the kind of place that I, up until a few years back, probably would've felt safe taking a nap for a couple 3 hours while distance driving. Who knows these days. I could see somebody impersonating an officer tapping on a window and waking her up with a flashlight in her face.
Only reason this location doesn't jive with what I think I understand the timeline to be - The fact that she had contact with a family member around 5pm later that day (??) and things seemed normal (??). IMO - She must've been under duress at that point and acting normal on that call like her life depended on it.

For reference - The Exxon "from the CCTV image" is part of the Grandway Travel Center on the map just South of the Gainesville Travel Information Center.
Actually the Red River Mobile ExxonMobil is a few miles south of the Gainesville Travel Center . It is located on the east side of interstate 35 N. On the frontage road right before US hwy 82. I'm very familiar with Gainesville. The travel rest area is up by the Red River a few miles.So... if she is at the gas station in Gainesville sometime after midnight (early AM Aug 5)... and police don't think she made it into Oklahoma - Then the most logical place IMO for something to have happened to her is at the Gainesville Travel Center (basically a gigantic rest area). Oops! So sorry! I was thinking it said a part of the travel center..not sure what my eyes were doing lol.I totally missed the south part. Yeah its actually several miles south on the other side of hwy 82. My old stomping grounds from Sherman, east and west. Again sorry! That's exactly what I said here:
No..actually I AM correct. The ExxonMobil is at the Red River ExxonMobil further south and has the same columns at the pumps and blue trash receptacles. I'll add a link and screenshot . I agree. I would think they might give an update even if they only said no new leads, etc. I haven't seen any new posts anywhere.4-weeks without any updates from LE. No additional sightings, no CCTV footage, no clarification of timeline.
Can’t help but feel like very little is being done to find CRC.
Grand way and Red River Stop are 2 different locations. That's why I replied originally to the post. Sorry for the lengthy explanation.No..actually I AM correct. The ExxonMobil further up near and still to the south of the travel center doesn't have the same pumps and would be too far past hwy 82 up closer to the State line, the Red River. If the car turned east the most probable way then to Paris is hwy82 east traveling from Cooke county through Grayson and Fannin Counties as well. I know they enlisted services of Grayson County per OSBI too.
I see what you are saying about the brick columns. I was paying attention to the red accents and blue trash bins.Grand way and Red River Stop are 2 different locations. That's why I replied originally to the post. Sorry for the lengthy explanation.
I think you have a plausible theory in the making. The statistics you quote could very well have implications for this case.I am confused why nobody seems to be considering that she could have met someone, planned to meet someone, or even stayed with someone during this time. There is no reason for her travel time to have been this long between all these places. She easily could have met someone at a casino and things eventually went south. I think the stranger abduction or tap tap on the windshield or pulled over by a cop impersonator is less likely. But, as soon as I say that I am reminded of Aniah Blanchard.
Below I will show some stats but apologies in advance as I am quoting an article about murdered women and we have no evidence of that yet, but things obviously do not look good.
Statistics show this:
According to analysis of FBI data, of all female homicides accounted for in 2018 where the relationship between perpetrator and victim could be identified, 92% of cases involved women or girls killed by a man they knew, 63% of whom were killed by current husbands, ex-husbands or current boyfriends.
(quoted from this article Femicides in the US: the silent epidemic few dare to name )
Her family, loved ones or others who know her haven't said that she knew people in these areas not that I've heard anyways. Its possible of course she met someone and then it went south when in their company. Perhaps it was someone unknown to her loved ones from one of these areas. IDK, just speculating. It is a long trip she was/is undertaking, if she does this every once in a while or say often then she may know people along her route unknown to her family or loved ones.I am confused why nobody seems to be considering that she could have met someone, planned to meet someone, or even stayed with someone during this time. We must keep in mind the statistics and what “known” actually means. “Known” could be someone met at a bar, a casino, a dating app, long time friend, former boss, and more. It just doesn’t mean a random person. My loved ones would hardly know who I know. BUT my digital footprint will tell most of who I know. Her family, loved ones or others who know her haven't said that she knew people in these areas not that I've heard anyways. I'm sure LE will look at everyone, especially through the digital footprint. At the same time I would also be concerned about acquaintances of those people. So those people may not show up it (acquaintances) and perhaps those acquaintances she may trust as they are known to those she communicates with. IDK, I realize it takes a while for phones to be cracked/investigated but its a long time as you said. Maybe we just don't know and everything is happening behind the scenes, I as you hope so as well. As I said its a long route perhaps she was a social butterfly. I wonder if she knew a lot of people along her route? We must keep in mind the statistics and what “known” actually means. “Known” could be someone met at a bar, a casino, a dating app, long time friend, former boss, and more. I’m willing to bet the OSBI is waiting on phone data. Possibly that will tell more. OR they know more. I don‘t hear family on news stories complaining about lack of progress either. If indeed that is the case, I’d encourage them to get vocal.
Personally, if progress is happening behind the scene the silence is fine with me. I don’t have to be in the know. I just hope progress is happening.
