I'm sorry, y'all, but I am crazy busy this morning trying to wrap up the timeline. I'll give you a little tip, though, to help you find any info you're looking for.

Go to Google, copy this entire line into the search box, and hit enter:

jamison "phone number" site:http://www.topix.com/forum/city/oklahoma-city-ok

This will search for any posts related to the Jamison case that contain the specific phrase "phone number." Then just right-click one at a time down the list of search results to open the pages in a new window to see if any of them have the info you're looking for.

You can also try different keywords like "phone records", or even just "phone" might get what you need.

You can do the same thing to search the older threads on this case. Just copy and paste this entire line:

jamison "phone number" site:http://www.websleuths.com/forums

OK...hire some more medical examiners for the state or something! In VA, a body was found yesterday, identified today.

The mystery Eufaula #. You may or may not have come across it in the threads here, but I definitely remember a couple of post (I truly don't know who or when) talking about someone (maybe Niki or Star) having the Eufaula # and calling it, but it being disconnected.

Strange LE didn't subpoena all the cell towers within a certain radius for the data (pings) pertaining to the Jamisons phones. I could see if its just one person, but a whole family. Something tells me it would have shown the phones never leaving the mountain after the 8th

What happened to Mtrooper? Surely she can help with the phone call questions.

I'm not sure whether anyone else tried as well, but mtrooper said back in thread #3 that after searching without results, she finally called the number and it was disconnected.

I guess I'm most curious about whether LE followed up on that number and, if not, whether there is any civilian route that can be used to look into it further? (I believe mtrooper already covered basic internet searches and reverse lookup sites.)

There are a lot of things I would think would be on a routine LE checklist in these situations that seem to either be overlooked or hidden from the public. I could be wrong but the phone call info we do have I believe is off the cell phone bill that Star produced-I don't dispute its accuracy, it would just be nice to know if LE called that unknown Eufaula # anytime in October. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that a civilian route is out since it's disconnected-I could be wrong.
Not only the phone calls but I'm pretty sure in 2009 their cell phones had the ability to text. I doubt they have anything good, its just the nosy side of me.

Here's another update on the timeline, still preliminary. THIS IS *NOT* THE FINAL VERSION.

As far as records pertaining to the cell phone, the videotape and other tech. type evidence goes, I don't see get anymore than what has been put out there. I imagine when they found the truck and other agencies got involved with local LE in the investigation, the tech portion of the investigation was handled by the FBI. Now it could be that they are the ones who are better equipped with dealing with that kind of evidence however its my opinion they didn't want local LE and other agencies having it for reasons I that conclude.

Wow, such great information here. Great timeline OG has put together!!! I can't imagine how much time and effort that took; but, I, for one, am grateful that you did so. THANK YOU!! Everyone on here is great!

I have followed this case off and on since the beginning; but, I have not currently been following as closely. The timeline really helped me to remember a lot ... and added new details.

I was hoping a few of you that have been recently following this case would be able to help me answer a few questions ... if you have time and don't mind, I would greatly appreciate it. The information I'm looking for may not be available; but, I thought if it were one of you would definitely know.

My Questions:

Has anyone found any information regarding the remains found? I can't imagine that they would be that close to where the truck was found, match the missing family, and end up being someone else.

It's been a while since the remains were found. I've yet to be able to locate any specifics on what they found with the remains ... ie. clothing/shoes (any possible matches to the missing family?), Sherilynn's missing gun, anything found near/with the bodies that could provide clues, etc?

Were all of the remains together? Were they buried or previously partially buried (it really bothers me that such a large search in the beginning didn't find them, if it is them; and, they were only 2.7 miles from their truck)?

Is there any information available at all beyond the fact that the remains of 3 people have been found?

I have been searching online; but, finding that most of the articles sound the same with very few details.

Please enlighten me to things I may have missed.

Thanks in Advance!!

DayDreamer,
Unfortunately there's really nothing you missed as its still all very unclear and unanswered past the point of knowing that the remains of 2adults AND 1child were found less than 3miles from where the truck was abandoned 4years ago.

there is a map posted somewhere on this thread that gives a better understanding of just how very unlikely it is that the family would have walked to the area where the remains were found..due to their truck being halfway down the side of the mountain and the remains were located at the bottom of THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN..jmo.

To the best of my knowledge, all we have at this point is that the remains were found 2.7 aerial miles (much farther on foot in that terrain) northwest of the truck, they were found together, not buried but covered over by years of fallen leaves. Three skulls, bones, bone fragments, shoes, and bits of clothing. No weapon found, and we do not have GPS coordinates for that location.

Thank You SmoothOperator & OkieGranny! I don't understand what is taking so long to at least give out a few more details. They should have at least some idea of whether the clothing/shoes found match anything the Jamison family owned.

I totally understand what is meant by the walking vs. aerial distances. Wasn't that area searched in the beginning?

JMO, but I've always felt this case involved foul play. Praying we get more answers soon! Thanks again!!

Thanks to all of the 'regulars' and 'not-so-regulars' for continuing to contribute to this thread. I've been out of town for work and busy with other 'personal stuff' and don't have the time to refresh my memory on all of the back details and stay on top of the new posts. I appreciate your efforts!

I hope so much that we find out what happened to the Jamisons. This case is frustrating!

Thanks again to all.

I am still relatively unclear on what the consensus is here wrt the spoken word of NS.. I will say that in my very honest and humble opinion that NS does seem, to me, to be totally sincere in what are her clear motivations for having relentlessly kept searching for her friend&family..and that the motivation appears, to me, to be in no way whatsoever beneficial to her as far as there being any personal gain from it other than just to find her friend&family..

So, with all of that said, according to NS the Jamison's computers were never seized and searched by local LE or the FBI.. and that along with seemingly everything else, the Jamison's computers were given, or taken from the house by Star where they've remained..

And Bob Dean was barely in his grave when she seized his estate.
Star certainly knows the ins and outs of the legal system. In one year she got a divorce, the estate of the EX husband despite the divorce and change of will, and control of the estate of her son. Very sad circumstances, but very profitable for the widow Jamison. (said with dripping sarcasm)

We can see where Bobby learned his talent at claims, law-suits, et al.

This is exactly what I was talking about a few pages back. She sure was set up well, and very soon. I'd really like to put her under the microscope.

I don't know about any consensus but I have 2 very distinct impressions of NS, (1) Wow she does this like its her job (literally) and (2) She wears her heart on her sleeve but absolute genuine concern for her friend and her friends family. I find her input and the FTJ website extremely interesting either way

Also this post raised an eyebrow for me as NS stated "ONE LAST"
https://www.facebook.com/FINDTHEJAMISONS/posts/533031310046276
and my reason being.
A friend of mine I went to school with k-12, who was also a FB friend committed suicide a while back. As soon as we all heard we searched her FB to look for anything we might have missed and we all found ourselves looking at a post she made 7 months prior to her suicide that said she was looking forward to spending "ONE LAST" birthday with her husband.

I could be wrong, but the choice of words stuck out, could be a coincidence though.

Just had a "duh" moment and finally realized that one of the interior photos of the truck is sideways. Here it is right side up:

Now it makes a little more sense. The unzipped soft-sided blue cooler is sitting upright instead of on its side. It supposedly had melted ice in it that the dog was able to drink. And possibly a package of hot dog wieners. I'm just... not clear on that.

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6104721&postcount=57.

They had a soft sided water cooler in the truck, it was unzipped per the people who were standing there while the deputy went through the truck that night. It had water in it, but the kind that comes after the ice in the cooler melts... I will see about getting the FBI to print maizey and the empty hot dog wrapper. But I have first-hand knowledge that most dogs do not care if they break the little re-sealable strip on the pack of hotdogs. Mine prefer the plastic wrap and all...

Hot dog wrapper is per Star, I will see if I can confirm with someone who was actually there when they were going through the truck.
