GUILTY OK - Jaray Wilson, 16, Weatherford, 15 Oct 2012

It would certainly make sense for "G" to be Tucker McGee. But I thought it was saying that JaRay owed money, not her dad?

Anyone know if this Gilberto Paz, who was the original POI, was found innocent or is he still related in some way?

Thank you for bringing this MSM report of 10-27-12 to the forefront to refresh our memories...

The article says Gilberto Paz (37 years old)... A POI in JaRay's disappearance... Was taken into custody...

I do not recall if he was eventually released.....

I guess I should go back and review this thread to refresh my memory for all facts we have uncovered...

Quote:
Custer County Sheriff Bruce Peoples announced their "person-of-interest" [Gilberto Paz] passed an Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics polygraph test at the county jail, a setback for investigators who continue following numerous tips about Wilson.

The sheriff's office took one person of interest into custody, but say this afternoon he passed a polygraph and has been cleared. Rodney Wilson, JaRay's father, says he isn't so sure the man has nothing to do with his daughter's disappearance. Investigators say they are still following up on other leads.

I am in the process of going back and reviewing this thread...

Article of October 28, 2012:

"Unfortunately, the tip that led deputies to Gilberto Paz, 37, may have been a false one, said Custer County Sheriff Bruce Peoples."

“We're still working on it, but we're not finding any connection with him at all so far,” Peoples said Saturday evening,..."

"Peoples told The Oklahoman investigators sought to question Paz because “his name kept coming up” during interviews with Wilson's friends and acquaintances."

"Paz remained in custody Saturday on a weapons complaint, the sheriff said."

Was McGee "G"? And why would her father owe a 17 year old money?

I think "G" is more likely Paz, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he was one of the ones arrested later. He was arrested last November on an unrelated murder charge, so he's probably in jail now. He seems like a bad dude, and apparently JaRay's friends connected her to him somehow, which is now he became a POI in the first place.

Gilberto Paz keeps popping up in connection to JaRay's disappearance!!!

(November 21, 2012)

"OKLAHOMA CITY - Two men considered persons of interest in a Weatherford teen's disappearance have been arrested in an Oklahoma City homicide investigation.
Authorities arrested Curtis Southerland and Gilberto Paz in Custer County Tuesday afternoon."

"Both are being held on complaints of murder and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon in a September homicide. Police found 23-year-old Jonathan Patton's body inside a home near SE 134th and Choctaw Road in Oklahoma City on September 10."

Okay... a third person joins the arrested for murder of Patton...

But... I do not know if or how she is connected to JaRay's disappearance...

"OKLAHOMA CITY - The investigation into a missing teenager led to murder charges in an unrelated case. Last week we told you authorities had arrested two persons of interest in the JaRay Wilson case."

"On Friday, prosecutors have charged those two men and a woman with murder."

"Gilberto Paz, Kurtis Southerland and Stacy Buckmaster were arrested for the murder of 23-year old Jonathan Patton."

Okayyy...

So... we were wondering where Gilberto Paz was..

He is in jail with two partners in crime for the murder of another man...

Thus ends my review... :seeya:

:rose: R.I.P. JaRay :rose: :tantrum: I actually was always kind of doubtful that JaRay was sold into human trafficking. I felt like that of course could of been a possibility. I did not ever think she ran away. I thought she wss dead. Whether she was murdered or died in some type of accident or something. JaRay's case now really reminds me of Kayla Chadwick. For those who do not know of her missing person case, she was killed by her seventeen-year-old boyfriend. I am shocked by all these cases of teens murdering other teens. Kayla Chadwick, Micaela Costanzo, Skylar Neese, and now JaRay is added to that list. JMO and :twocents:

This article is over a year old, but check it out. It really makes me wonder just how many persons were involved in this, and what really happened to Jaray Wilson.
McGee was arrested very quickly, and without a positive ID, there's an awful lot of press stating this is likely Jaray. So, LE must have alot of pieces, already put together. (if they're correct)
Let's see what McGee has to offer, now that he's in custody. Oh dear Lord...this looks like a mess. And surely, not the ending we wanted for Jaray Wilson and her loved ones. May Justice prevail.

Obviously LE has good reason to believe that this is Jaray Wilson. But honestly..it's very upsetting to me, that the press ever release that a person is deceased, when they haven't exactly made the positive ID.

Am I the only one bothered by this?

Why is it taking so long to confirm that the remains are Jaray? It doesn't seem right to state so surely that someone is dead without confirmation :/
