**OLD REVISIT**GA Seen Near Woods Where Teams Searched for Caylee

I am mystified why George would choose a particular spot to peer into the woods. I doubt very seriously that Casey did or would ever have told either of her parents where she disposed of Caylee.

Perhaps some psychic got to George and told him that was the place.

Could something in the cellphone pings have stood out to him? I would think, being former LE and have a personal vesting in finding his own grandchild, that George would have researched any documents available online, just as we have.

Could that particular place have had some previous significance to him and Casey? Some place they had gone to before for some reason?

One of my biggest concerns is that Casey confided to a family member - George, Cindy, or Lee - where she disposed of Caylee, and that family member might take it upon themselves to move the remains so they wouldn't be found.

But, like anyone else, the family members could be reading online theories about where Caylee's remains are, and also be trying to decipher the cell phone pings too.

I think George learned where the searchers will be focusing this weekend and he went there to see if he could 'feel' Caylee. It's a shame he couldn't do something like that without it becoming a media event.

I agree. Regardless of how they may irritate people, no one needs some moments of quiet reflection and peace than these people! How can they be expected to come to terms with any of this while having to tow the co.line in public for KC's sake! They are truly in a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation..Where I come from those words aren't swears so sorry if I offended!

I do admit, that is suspicious. But, I am still in the camp that KC did this all alone and the rest of the family may think they know what happened, but I still don't think KC told them. Trust no one. Isn't that a line from one of KC's poems or something? To me, it doesn't seem like KC and GA had that strong of a bond for her to let him in on her deep dark secret. But, I could be wrong. I think KC did what KC did, and she hasn't breathed a word about it to another living soul. I think GA deep down knows or suspects what happened, and he is trying to deal with it as much as he can. Maybe he wanted some time to grieve, and heaven knows he can't while CA is around. Maybe he speculates that Caylee is in those woods, and that's why he stopped there to see if her could sense her.

I believe CA is grieving, too, in her own way, but I think she is too proud to admit it. I think she feels somewhat responsible, for letting KC get away with so much over the years, for confronting KC and arguing with her, for grossly underestimating what her daughter was capable of, etc., and because of that, she is refusing to publicly admit what she believes happened. She is clinging to the Caylee is alive theory with all her being, because if she lets that go, she has to admit, at least to herself, that she let things with KC get out of control, and because of that, her granddaughter is gone.

I just can't see any of them moving the decomposed remains of their beloved Caylee. They truly adored her and that would be really gross!

It could be(just a theory)..that the family's feelings are not black and white..maybe they say some things out loud to protect KC but in their hearts and souls they are not as sure as they pretend to be.

I agree. It is also my opinion that Cindy placed those pants, and possibly other items from the car, in the backyard to "hose them off" prior to placing them into her washing machine! I don't know any woman who would put something that apparently smelled so horrible into her washer without first washing it off outside. Perhaps that is how the decomp came to be in the yard where the dogs hit.

P.S. I have been a long-time reader here, but this is my first post....just in case I didn't do this correctly.

If Cindy put some of the clothing on the ground and then went to get the hose, that could explain the decomp hits in the backyard. One of the hits was supposedly near the pool. I wonder if Cindy dipped an item of clothing in the pool thinking the chlorine would kill the odor?

If any item of clothing smelled bad enough to take all that action, and no fowl play was suspected (wherein the clothing might be considered evidence), why not simply throw the article away? I'm pretty "thrifty" myself, but no way am I going to wear something again that wreaks of something dead so badly I have to go hose it down in the back yard before putting it in my washer.

Your suggestion of hosing items down in the backyard makes sense though, especially if I thought the items might be evidence I was afraid to throw away without being asked why I "destroyed evidence"; better to just clean it and take my chances.

I didn't think this was listed in the areas near the airport where the searchers will be over the weekend. Isn't this some distance north of the airport and out of the ping area?

Yes, it's northeast of the airport, and outside the ping area. Maybe George just had a hunch.

I have heard alot of idiotic things come from these people but this may take the cake. He is standing there looking at the woods trying to find a place for the tent? Are you kidding me? Who besides the searches are going to be in the woods? What does he think the gators are going to donate or give him clues of some sort. No this is shananigans and I would think LE would scold him for trying to tamper with a possible dump site.
