So which is it George?

George said, "The last time I saw her was June 16, one year ago today. I woke up with her in the morning at 7:30, got a chance to have breakfast with her. Just before 1:00 that day, I didn't ever realize that that'd be the last time I would see her, have a chance to kiss her, hold her. I would hear her call me Jo-Jo, and put her in a car and wave good-bye to her."

What Cindy said 8/4/08 to Det. Edwards on page 27! According to her-you left in the MORNING!!

George is a joke- can't tell ya how many times he has changed his story!

To me, the best he could do would be to stand up and be counted on the side of Caylee, the little girl who was robbed of her life and never got a chance to even live. I would stand on the side of my grandchild if my child murdered them. I am sure I would continue to love my child, but I would honor my sweet little baby, my sunshine, with at the minimum, the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God. George's loyalty is in the wrong place and it is the cause of his entire struggle. I know a "George" and his type allow the most unspeakable things to go by unnoticed and unnoted, so long as the boat does not rock. They destroy as many lives with their innaction and inability to cope with anything properly as do the outright evildoers. I can find no honor in George and I have searched.

Amen! But I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that he will man up for trial!

snipped and bolded by me -

The gun iirc was reported to LE by Lee. Lee became aware of the gun somehow and was concerned about GA.

I have never seen that it was Lee that reported George's gun to LE. Perhaps you can find the link indicating it was Lee. All that I recall is that it was a "tip" to LE. IMO, if it was Lee, Lee would have called his father and tell him to remove the gun from the car rather then call LE.

I just bumped a thread surrounding the topic of Lee reporting the gun. There isn't a source just speculation within that thread.

While reading the thread, I remembered that the A's lawyer reported the gun. Now I have to go try to find a source for that claim. I'll be back. (Maybe it was Lee who told the Lawyer?) Everything is getting sketchy.

I just bumped another thread about the gun. Within it Post 257 states "a tip" was sent in about the gun as you state. The name of the thread is "3:45 am cops search georges trunk PART 2".

I'm still looking for more info as I think details came out later.

Wish i had a photographic memory. If I'm correct and I think we can locate it, the A's hadn't hired counsel. I was taken back when watching the search by LE. Does anyone remember the big conversations we were all having about the female police officer and what was in her hand? Many thought it was the blackberry. I want to link but Patty G is the go to gal or Jbean for these old post. It was stated I believe through media first that this gun was ordered off the internet and had to be picked up at a gun shop due to registering for the license. I was corrected by a member as I had assumed it came to his house. This gun arrived 6-8 wks into Caylee case which tells one that the order was placed possiby the first wk. of the case. Now many moons later we know GA by testimony was to start a new security guard job. Did he order the gun earlier for his job and was he allowed even to carry a gun on the job regardless of licensing? Or was the gun bought to protect family or for a suicde attempt? So many people felt it was Lee as we members thought he would be Caylee's knight in shining armor during this time. We are still at ground level in sluething, right?

Yes I remember. And then there was talk that it could have been his gun from his olden days LE job, etc. It may have been NeJame that commented on the situation regarding the gun. I thought someone admitted to calling in the tip and it was someone within their house. I'm loosing it for sure. I thought NeJeme came to the house during the time LE was there. Just don't know why I thought Lee was involved other than the thread I found - cept no proof. I could be remembering the speculation. Moral: shut up Woe! :bang:

I stand corrected. I can only find statements that "a tip" was called into LE.
I'm not sure who called in the tip.

I've been searching for it for quite a while, too, Woe and thought maybe I'd find something about the "tipster" on NG. Didn't come up with anything on who it was but the other things that popped up with my search were interesting. I kept being linked with George's suicide attempt ~ because there were unconfirmed leaks that his note said he "talks about wanting to buy a gun to teach casey's friends a lesson."

Ordered off the internet? Where have I been? I don't remember that at all.

As I recall, we never found out who called the George gun tip in. There was speculation that it was Lee, George himself, Cindy etc., but it was never divulged who made that call.

In George's "hail fellow well met" interview before he went into the SA deposition, he was asked what he was carrying. He said something to the effect that he had notes to assist him in remembering some facts. My question is would he be allowed to refer to those notes while giving his deposition? I would think not. Anyone know for sure?

There is a discussion on the gun here: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70617"]George's Gun: Who notified the police? - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

Yup, that's what it says a "tip" ... :)

I am not sure where these "unconfirmed" leaks are with regards to George buying a gun, etc., etc. in the note George wrote at the time George "allegedly" attempted suicide. If the information is coming from other websites, we can't really believe this as fact but more so as "rumors".

No one knows what was in the suicide note.

Looks like Mark NeJame was hired somewhere around September 4, 2008. http://www.nejamelaw.com/mark-nejame-in-the-news/anthonys-hire-mark-NeJame.htm

George's gun was taken on September 6, 2008
http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Local/2008/9/6/evidence_taken_from_george_anthony39s_car.html

I find nothing regarding George buying a gun on the internet in any of the "reputable" media websites. IMO, this needs to be confirmed so we know if this is a "rumor" or FACT".

There is a "lot" of speculation of what the female officer had in her hand.

It came out at the bond hearing on July 22, 2008 that George was suppose to start a new job on July 15th. So this information has been out for a long time.

We do not know if George was allowed to carry a gun at the job he was suppose to start back in July 2008.

He could bring notes and refer to them.
It would be entered into the record that he was doing so.
It is not a memory test, it is suppose to be to get a clear and concise record of your version of events.

This is the best I could trace it back to: http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/en...ase-want-a-good-look-at-the-new-attorney.html

It's an article by Hal Boedeker, The TV Guy, (who is often linked in our Today's Current News thread) attributing the exact statement to Mike DeForest of Click Orlando (channel 6, I think?): "In the note, George Anthony talks about wanting to buy a gun to teach Casey's friends a lesson, defends Casey's innocence and says Cindy deserves a better husband, Mike DeForest reported. His attorney says George is still frail after the ordeal, DeForest said."

I'm not saying this is fact, by any means, but thought giving a link might help. I spent a lot of time trying to chase down a place where Mike actually reported this and couldn't find anything . . . But did find a couple of video links re the note that had no video (I think they had been taken down for some reason?).
