Am I the only one who is amazed that LE didn't ASK for surveillance tapes, especially if you have some that show the parking lot? Please make sure they are not destroyed or taped over in the event the due down the road. (I am praying that LE hasn't been barking up the wrong tree.)

I don't know how long the video is stored...it's a pretty high-tech device, and I believe we can go back weeks if not months. From my understanding (what was published on the front page of the Oregonian a few days ago), the police were asking for surveilance video from local businesses (there's a specific list of which streets/roads available somewhere if you'd like me to try and find it) on a volunteer basis only. We're within that radius, and even though it's unlikely any clues turn up our lot, I'd still like to try.

Calliope, I completely understand where you're coming from, and greatly appreciate your concern. I'm not worried as of yet, but I do promise to consider it.

Dream 6/16/10
Kyron is in the back seat of an older car parked in high grass, vegatation(not sure what to call it). There is an older man outside the window bending down looking it at him. Gives me the feeling of an abandoned car in someones long neglected back yard.

Usually when I have these dreams it is very early before I have read so much on the case. So I am not sure this dream means anything but he is alive in my dream and that gives me hope.

I had posted a dream I had quite awhile ago and in my dream, LE had a confession and had to find Kyron before it was too late. It's very interesting that you, Bern and I all had dreams and in all of them, Kyron was still alive at one point.

People feel SM posted trivial updates on FB, posted about going to gym, did not post Kyron's photo for six days, but maybe it was due to LE telling them to go about their business.

Really? I haven't read or seen that. I have seen posters saying it must be Kaine's truck but I haven't seen an article where the media said it was Kaine's.

Do you know which thread the link was in?

From what I have been able to see the video of the truck has now been edited out of the video and also the statement about it being towed elsewhere is also not there.

Sounds like the new site knew they had put out misinformation so they edited that part out.

I don't imagine one of the visitors at the Hormans would appreciate the media delving into their private matters if it was their truck going to the shop.

I think I read that yesterday about the truck belonging to Kaine and the red mustang to Terri {in the same sentence}. Now is when I wish we had a forum so we could go to the 'truck' thread. LOL I'll look. xox

PS: I think there are several things that have been pulled from the local news. I bet if LE objects to something going out to the public all they have to do is make a call and 'poof', it's gone !!!

Just jumping off from your post, not commenting specifically on it.

I recommend that anyone interested in the Jim Kelley truck report do what I just did... bring up the map (linked in my sig) and do a google street view drive through from Cornelius Pass Road to the pin marking his house.
It involves crossing a one lane bridge and making several turns; it's hard to believe someone would go that far accidentally. The road is unimproved (I thought I had read 'private road' initially, but the oregonlive story says 'dead end) and heavily wooded. When you reach his property, you can see why he and his neighbor would be suspicious of any unknown vehicle being down there.
It's not a place, IMO, where you'd go to make out, smoke out or get privacy. I'd be more concerned with getting run off with a shotgun if I drove down there and didn't belong.

IMO, there are also many other, more private places nearby that a person who didn't want to be seen could go.




He has subsequently been arrested and charged with not registering, including in the town of St Helens (where he may have had a proper residence before being homeless. One print report said that he was known to LE in town, and lived on the outskirts of town.

A one lane bridge? Has this place been searched? If the whilte truck had to cross it, maybe that is where lil Kyron is.

Silence Over Missing Ore. Boy, 7, Raises Questions


(June 16) -- It has been nearly three weeks since 7-year-old Kyron Horman mysteriously disappeared from his elementary school in Portland, Ore. In that time, local authorities have put in hundreds of hours and launched a number of searches for the missing youngster, all to no avail.

Now, as the search efforts begin to wind down, some are starting to question the way in which the investigation is being handled.

In contrast to most missing-child cases -- in which police and family members attempt to draw as much media attention as possible -- there has been an unusual silence around Kyron's disappearance. Police have refused to release a detailed timeline or comment on possible theories. In addition, the boy's family has made just two public appearances: at a Friday police press conference, where they briefly pleaded for his return but did not take questions, and a Sunday police press conference, at which they were present but did not speak.

Did anyone catch that this news source said it'd been nearly three weeks since he disappeared? Actually, it's been 13 days - nearly two weeks. I also saw two different local reports on the psychic who led LE to Yreka. One said the psychic was from Idaho, the other said the psychic was from Ohio! Even media can screw up and perpetuate rumors, methinks.

The school rep on NG was the guy named Shelby...I did not catch his title, something to do with Portland School System I believe. They all talked a mile a minute as they only had about 2-3 minutes total for the segment.

About ownership, I found a photo taken when the family visited the grandfather's farm that shows the same truck. I'm not bringing it here as I don't think we need a photo of him here out of respect.
