Am I the only one who is amazed that LE didn't ASK for surveillance tapes, especially if you have some that show the parking lot? Please make sure they are not destroyed or taped over in the event the due down the road. (I am praying that LE hasn't been barking up the wrong tree.)
I don't know how long the video is stored...it's a pretty high-tech device, and I believe we can go back weeks if not months. From my understanding (what was published on the front page of the Oregonian a few days ago), the police were asking for surveilance video from local businesses (there's a specific list of which streets/roads available somewhere if you'd like me to try and find it) on a volunteer basis only. We're within that radius, and even though it's unlikely any clues turn up our lot, I'd still like to try.
Calliope, I completely understand where you're coming from, and greatly appreciate your concern. I'm not worried as of yet, but I do promise to consider it.
