I missed how Intel Corp came into the picture. Would someone give me a clue? [I apologize. I am trying to have at least a tiny sliver of an off-line life today.]

Rather than mess it all up, I'll try to direct you.
From the map (linked in my last post, or here by clicking this text) you can see the blue line run out at its Eastern-most point. Keep going (the power lines do also), through the flag marking the edge of the search perimeter. You'll see PCC/Portland Community College marked.. it is at 185th Ave & Springville Road (the only reason I saw this is by very odd coincidence I was looking up someone who lives on that road!)

It's just outside of 2 miles from the school, assuming the flag pins are set at the 2 mile search perimeter.

Another thing I think is strange regarding the media... normally wouldn't they be stalking the searchers and reporting from/flying over the search areas when they found them? They must have been told not to do that (or I have missed that they ARE doing it).

Now I do not think the boy looks like him. He looks darker

Could Kyron have gone outside in the parking lot area and been accidently run over by a vehicle that was leaving or arriving? I am simply lost as to what may have happened to this sweet child. Where is Kyron?

Though officials declined to comment Wednesday on specific locations the teams would search, crews from Jackson, Tillamook, Klamath, Clackamas and Washington counties and Pacific Northwest Search and Rescue could be seen setting up a base camp at about 7:30 a.m. today on Northwest Quarry Road, less than one mile southeast of the school.

It's so easy to miss important things!

There's been a few photos and videos, but Gates has said numerous times that media would impede the search efforts; and media is to stay off private property.

Thank you! I was speaking with my friends in Peru that have kidnapping insurance about Joran's case when they told me they have an insurance card that literally reads who to call if there is a kidnapping, the name sounded familiar--The Ackerman Group--thought might be related but the law firm's name is Acker--doubt there is a connection. That said, I am sure that Intel has this type of insurance and connections, it's been very common since the 80's. Wow thanks for sharing that, I never knew that kind of insurance existed. I guess it makes sense to offer it to executives in large corporations and their family.

The thing I noticed in the picture of VMW the thing that stood out to me are the glasses. The child in the video appears to have non transitional lenses. It was reported that he has those. With him peering out the the window during the daytime, I think they would appear darker if they were transistional (spelling). IMO

FWIW I was just away from my house and reading this thread on my phone while waiting at an office~ before the side by side picture was taken down of Kyron and the boy in the VW. To ME it looked like the glasses on the boy in the VW were darker and it made me jump and think it maybe could be Kyron. When I got home to actually post my opinion, the pic is gone from the thread, so hard for me to say now. It could have just been my phone and the lighting. I think the glasses were darker. ?

I still think searching back close to the school means they are back to square one in this investigation...that they don't know what happened and therefore are combing every inch in areas where they feel he could have headed on foot...I feel as though they have not gained any definite knowledge one way or the other. I don't get why they would be back where they started otherwise, unless they are going on a tip that they feel is credible that he walked outside the building at some point. I am not buying the theory that he could have been taken AND have been left in this area alive. JMO.

E gads, the lack of factual info in this case is mind-boggling and crazy-making.
No comment= we don't know, IMO.

IMO, it was clear they were driving in front of (or in to) the school lot, where LE was stopping everyone.

Sgt. Diana Olsen, the Multnomah County Sheriff's search & rescue coordinator, called today's renewed effort "a surge," which fit with the image of the caravans of searchers arriving at the quarry in a steady stream.

Deputies in fatigues directed traffic in the quarry's wide parking lot as the rescuers prepared to search new areas and go back over areas already searched in an ever-widening arc around the school.

The sheriff's office said searchers have covered "every piece of ground" within a 2 1/2-mile radius around Skyline School but the plan is to go back over the area with even more care.
