Edit: During police interview they learned he lived in her apartment. He was also inconsistent in interviews. They did not say (yet) how they got a lead on him in the first place.

Thank God they found Whitney and have arrested their perp. This is so incredibly sad. Justice will be served for Whitney and her family. She is my neighbor just over the river =\.

Voluntarily came in for 3rd interview....

Oh, the tremor in his voice. Heartbreaking all around, for everyone involved.

Johnathan Daniel Holt arrested.

Interviewed him a couple of times and got fingerprints and DNA.

Phone had additional evidence pointing to Holt and also add'l evidence in Whitney's car pointing towards to Holt. He was arrested this afternoon. Aggrevated murder.

Chief visibily upset but doing okay.
