accused on his stumps, and on prosthetics,
clear we are dealing with two different persons

so

" Public opinion can have no impact upon this court..."

but I will use your 'public opinion' in order to mitigate his sentence and give him some time off for it.

too much publicity, not courts of public opinion, iow, OP should have walked first time, so unfortunate for Reeva that OP is a popular public figure. Imo, Masipa is arrogant and gullible.

ii may have just heard Judge Leach banging his fist on a table

Custodial sentence would serve no purpose as accused completed courses and workshops in incarcertion
Did she just say that ?

She can't bear to say, 'I got it absolutely wrong. I made an incompetent judgement.'

That public outrage was in this correct and the highest court in the end actually agreed with the public and found it murder .. she cannot at all 'take into account the public' or [her own weaknesses].

Circumstances have changed as accused has now been found guilty of DE which is more serious

How can you rehabilitate a person who has denied that with which he has been convicted?

he's been exposed to rehabilitation programmes, may not be sufficient now he's been found guilty of present crime

Its insane that she is allowed to even be in the same room let alone hand down a sentance

Custodial sentence would serve no purpose as accused completed courses and workshops in incarcertion
Did she just say that ?

yes, did we ever get evidence of the course duration. One week per course?

Accused good candidate for rehabilitation ?
Temper and aggressive attitude to Prison staff ignored then? and lies told to Stolz about prison life ?

Oh, bulldust. He completed his courses in prison and that makes him a good candidate for rehabilitation.
