If it was just "looking young" his wife could easily pass for under 21.
So it was definitely more than that.

I don't think any victim of sexual assault can be forced to undergo a rape kit. That would be like being raped again.

On another note, what do you all think about the report that KE lost his job because of his obsession with AY? Wonder what his workplace knew. Or if he was just becoming irresponsible and they didn't know the cause? [emoji848]

I was curious about the reasoning as well. Maybe he was skipping work on those days he signed her out, and was subsequently fired for tardiness?

I read one report that said he was a 'concrete contractor'. Sounds to me he was likely a 'concrete laborer', not a
contractor who would own the business.
Construction crews do not take kindly to unreliable workers who don't show up or stay on the job.

Probably not, the impersonation clauses of Pennsylvania law under fraud only cover
4912. Impersonating a public servant.
4913. Impersonating a notary public or a holder of a professional or occupational license.

I think it would be included under the charges of interfering with custody.

He shaved the sides of his hair and took off his glasses. That's not much of a disguise, and he could never pass for a teen.

I see inaccuracies on these MSM articles, such as the timeline in which AY's mom discovered the texts between her and KE. What I did learn is that KE has a brother, Rodney, who stated that KE has not been in touch for 6 years.
 
I havent heard anything, but I would suspect KE would be having a hearing today in Miami. He will be asked if he going to fight extradition or waive it. If he waives it, he could be transported back to Pennsylvania as soon as someone comes to get him. If he fights extradition, it could take a few weeks.

What is KidsPeace?
I am assuming she is in the hospital for emotional/mental evaluation and treatment. I am really concerned about her and what her future is. She needs to get back in school and make some new friends. I am guessing she didn't have the best of friends before. I wonder if anyone has tried to contact her real father.

I would think that there is other physical evidence under investigation like her personal clothing (presence of DNA) that LE is testing. If those results contradict what she is saying that would be bad for her. She hasn't been thinking rationally and there is the grey area of possible charges if she took (or was coerced by KE which would be additional charges for him) she may be convinced to being cooperative.

I'm surprised the media revealed where she will be getting treatment. Shouldn't that info be private? But I do hope this program helps her.

ETA: From their website it seems there are several locations near Allentown, so at least her location is not revealed.

On the internet They "gives kids peace through mental health treatment programs, crisis intervention and public education." They also seem to have residence and foster care programs. IMO She won't be returning the home.

I wonder if they were able to gather any evidence in Mexico. I'd like to hear more about how they were found and what their reaction was.
 
Now I'm wondering if AY had a breakdown when she got back. That sounds like a pretty serious treatment facility. Pretty sad to see what KE influence in her life has resulted in.

ET went into treatment after Cummins got arrested and we knew about it. Can't remember if they told us the exact facility, though.

My feeling is if she's told it's important and they need her to do it she would.

That's good. I looked it up and it appears to be an inpatient treatment center. Sounds like what ET went through. It was great for her. Hopefully this will be great for AY.

She's not going to be charged with anything. Nothing is going to be "bad" for her when it comes to the law. She's a victim. Not a criminal.
