I was asking about the clothing labels because of his jewelry and well manicured nails and toes makes me think this guy had money and if his age is 15 to 20. For some reason I am getting Male Escort or Drugs. I can be totally off here but is just a feeling.
I wonder if the Derby Jockey underwear was a higher end underwear for the Jockey Label?

Agree with your thought process he could of easily have been a dealer that was caught up with other dealers he owed money to. He was killed kneeling down and shot in the front not back this reeks of someone ruthless. Escort is another possibility..

There was some robbery activity going on in the area at the time this UID was found believe a bit before possibly even a month but looking into the activity of robberies and murders in the area is something to research

Not familiar with the area but there for a period of time their were a few murderers and bodies found around the area. You are absoultely correct he was rather Snappy dressed ... sounded like a very metro city person. Wonder if it could have been a mob hit or drug lord of sorts ..

they both kind of look like the John Doe... I think everyone that has been posted here kind of looks like the John Doe!

That's what I was thinking too, I was sure he was blonde until I read your comment! Then I checked DoeNetwork and it turns out his hair colour was actually brown... I think his recon is a little bit misleading lol

Okay, the hair on the recon is like pasted on over another drawing, like they wanted to see what he'd look like as a blond or something. You can see his hair color at the top of his forehead.

I used a dark pencil to fill in his hair to something closer to the rest of the recon and put it side by side with LG. Kind of clumsy, but yeah. We need to pursue this one.

There's no way to tell which one is correct. The original could have been mistaken, corrected later, or the later one might be an incorrect transcription.

Since the original information was so badly off about the age, I'm inclined to believe the more recent interpretation, but that's just me. Unless somebody wants to contact the ME and see if we can get definitive information?

Your welcome AIP! I would not change anything as that the name is questionable and could be a variation of a number of names including manufacturer, designer or surname we just do not know for sure at this point.

The news articles are from 1979 from what they thought it was once may not be the same as it is now.
