More questions swirling...Okay. DB did not take 16-year-old child to a remote apartment/site after he kidnapped her. Nope, DB took her to mom and dad's house where he lived...And he raped, beat, tortured, burnt her clothes, sodimized her, splattered her with gas/bleach right before digging a hole in the yard potentially to bury her. As we know, the girl escapes and runs naked for 2 miles for help.

Eh... Question: Were DB's parents out of town, or did they just not notice any of this? Hear anything? See strange hole in the backyard? This went on for 2-3 days. Just wondering.

My husbands parent are retired. We frequently house sit for them when they take off in their RV. If this man's family trusted him, maybe they did the same.

Watching the abduction, it reminded me of what the FBI profiler said about JLMatthew in Hannah Graham's kidnapping....this is a predator with professional skills.

I felt terrified for Carlesha. Now I feel terrified each time I read a new update. This dude is beyond scary!! Kept her captive in his parent's home?!?!?! Dug a hole in their backyard?!?! WTH??? He has no morals, no social concerns for anyone!!! Just forget the trials, and put a bullet in him. Kinda wish LE had done that when they found him!!

Yes, Delvin Barnes is the kinda guy that redefines what we know of evil...and unfortunately, in this day and age, we know a lot. Just praying for JUSTICE, and HEALING for Carlesha, the child here who is still in the hospital, ex-wife and any others who had the misfortune of crossing his path.

I have to say ,It seems he FBI has picked up their game in these missing person cases recently. It has been wonderful to see this after so long of watching case after case become cold ,and become stuck in time.

Who knows how many lives have been saved ,none of the recently caught appear to have been anywhere near retiring.

I did read an article that said LE was reviewing photos from Barnes' phone. The article stated LE wasn't sure if the suspect actually had other victims or if he was using the photos to intimidate the girl.

The fact that he is saying he chose Carlesha randomly freaks me out. Seriously I dug in my heels that he knew her! He brings sicko to a new level. No hesitation, go get the girl. Crazy bravado.

It was before.....he abducted and tortured a 16 year old girl in the Richmond VA area in October '14. Held her for 2 days and then poured bleach and acid all over her and was prepared to murder her. She escaped.

This is confusing. Actually, this article contridicts a lot of what I have previously read. Previously they read they were waiting for DNa to come back and that took place on the 28th. Also, I never heard of the guy who sold the car calling in to say he sold him the car. I thought they called the car place....
