Reporter Claudia Gomez met with police and her criminal defense attorney about the removal of ID's from McIntosh's apartment.

Actually when they said Fox 19 had an exclusive and had the ID's I was thinking "Uhhhh how'd she do that?"

The police commish don't seem real thrilled with it.

LOL, I see we posted the same article at the same time.

This woman is a GOOD liar and conniver. She's not crazy, she's diabolical.

They need to throw her in the slammer and thow away the key! :behindbar:

LOL to be such a big piece of news, that article sure is short!

That is what you call a determined reporter! I wonder if she entered the home on her own or if she went into the home with one of the ex-residents? Either way she is in some deep doodoo!

I wonder if she found new ids or ones they were already familiar with? If it is new ones, that means there are more than the 50 already talked about. How many were there? And how did LE miss them!

Another questionable death. How many of those will there be before this is over?
LOL so many questions, so few answers.

I must have read that wrong I got that she stole McIntosh's ID????? How would she have found the others? (without reeeallllly digging!) I was thinking the girl had her ID laying somewhere.....

Since the reporter had the 'criminal defense attorney,' I'm thinking it was the REPORTER who was in possession of the OTHER id's from the apartment. LE may have wanted to meet up with her and she feared being arrested for 'evidence tampering.'

That's how I read it.

It appears the subject are SEVERAL id's from "Jean McIntosh.'

One was some type of employee id?????????

Interesting,

Oh carp! IS this a NEW one? :pullhair:

Neighbor described her as a 'white woman,' who one neighbor saw wandering around the yard

PS...fwiw Jane McIntosh had an id (from the above linked video about the id's found by reporter) as an employee of some type of health care facility that takes care of elderly or such....trolling for NEW VICTIMS????

PPS...ok, I get confused on either 'Jane' or 'Jean McIntosh, but I THINK she went by both.

Family Court judge in dungeon case had previous connection

As Family Court's top judge, Kevin Dougherty has taken on all custody-related matters in the horrific Tacony dungeon case.

In 2002, Dougherty was the judge who gave Weston, a convicted murderer, custody of Beatrice.

A Family Court spokesman Thursday night said that Dougherty had not remembered his prior involvement in Weston's case until after the Daily News had asked him about it.

"Clearly, Judge Dougherty has no recollection of ever being advised of Linda Weston's criminal record by DHS, or by the Child Advocate, or by the child's mother, Vicky Weston, all of whom were present in court and agreed to the placement on August 16, 2002," Frank Keel, Philadelphia Family Court spokesman, wrote in a statement to the Daily News.

"The record reflects that Judge Dougherty had several court hearings over a span of eight months, wherein DHS represented to the Court that the child, Beatrice, was safe and her needs were being met," Keel wrote

Fran this is the lady from Post #191.

It really does get confusing with all the names and similar aliases of McIntosh and Weston. Plus the most confusing is locations.

It's a bit easier for me to keep track and maybe Holly can as well from neighborhoods. At least that is how I have kept track.

Tacony is where the victims were found chained. Weston at some point as well as her children lived in Frankford. She also lived in Kensington which is the A&Westmoreland connection. Then we had the Rutland Street house and now this is Glenview Street. Some people call both of those Castor Gardens.

To put it mildly no way in holy heck she is out there mind wise. Moving that many dang times? That takes know-how. Also I noticed she was slick enough to choose different neighborhoods.

So the reporter STOLE the id's from the apartment?

Fran, Not sure what kind of Attorney her husband is. However, I know his name as these are all locals and pretty much we know about our news folk. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put his name in black and white.

The two places McIntosh worked I am familiar with. One having been investigated about abuse some time ago. The other is in Abington right outside of Philly. Had a relative in there who I can't ask any questions of because they are deceased.

Claudia Gomez messed up big time IMO. Fox 29 being no strangers to controversy.

So DHS supervised the placement of Beatrice and they didn't notice that LW had the mental capacity of a toddler? That she was schizophrenic? I'm being sarcastic.

But DHS allegedly supervised the home for a period of time. And I guess LW could have hidden all her other little money makers during visits. But wouldn't she have had to show a source of income to support her household? I'd like to know just how long they supervised the case and how many visits they actually made before asking the judge to stop their supervision order.

The article buried on the back page that a 'relative' which I presume is the son that has already been interviewed by media, saw her crouched in a corner and she had bruises. And he called DHS. But LW convinced them that Beatrice had moved. I wonder if they stopped her kinship payments after that point?

I just can't get over how many times LE/DHS seems to have been in contact with this household and no one seems to have noticed any problems. Or at least no problems that LW couldn't get herself out of. People die and she just packs up and moves and no one seems to notice. DHS investigates and she just tells them the child moved out of the home. LE is called for neighbor problems and nothing. It just amazes me.

LOL, uh oh! Looks like there's going to be a cat fight between the judge and city hall! :)

Guess the mayor of Philadelphia isn't happy with the judge's statement.

Philadelphia judge says DHS advised him to place child with Weston

Judge Kevin Dougherty, head of the city's Juvenile and Family Courts, acknowledged Thursday that in 2002 he placed a young girl in the custody of her aunt, convicted murderer Linda Ann Weston - and added that he did so at the recommendation of the Department of Human Services, a child advocate, and the girl's mother.

....................snip............................

Mark McDonald, spokesman for Mayor Nutter, released the following statement:

"On behalf of DHS, we cannot and will not violate the requirements of confidentiality under Pennsylvania law. We are disappointed that the court would reveal, selectively, case-specific details in a confidential matter before the court, through a public statement.

"The city has begun a comprehensive internal investigation of all city agencies with involvement in this complicated case, and a report will be given to the mayor."

Oh good, just what this case doesn't need is everyone pointing fingers and putting blame everywhere else. I am glad they are doing an investigation. But only if they will actually be investigating and only if they will actually do something about the findings. Using an investigation to try to find someone else to point fingers at is useless.

I do have to agree with the judge on one point. If DHS comes to court and makes a reccomendation of a person, most likely that is the person he should choose. And his info is only as good as the agency doing the investigation. But I also think the court should also be proactive and do a standard criminal background check themselves. DHS uses the clients word for something, the court could use the criminal system to check their criminal record. Or the court should require that DHS do a criminal records check anytime they are reccomending a placement.

Ok, let me get this straight. This person interviewed knew these disabled people were being abused and she did nothing!? :banghead:

What were they thinking!? How could they just witness this sort of thing and not say anything to authorities? From one sentence to the next, they contradict themselves.

It just seems someone with any humanity would have reported this. This is so sad. :(

New findings this was nothing new to the House of Horrors 3 it was a repeated criminal behavio

“I didn’t think they had anything going on like that,” Ronald Bass said.
“I was shocked,” Sadie Pollard said. “I didn’t believe it.”
Pollard said the suspects used to call themselves her friend. She would make dinner for the family from time to time, she said.
While Pollard knew the suspects, she said they would treat the disabled people who lived in the house terribly.

“She would holler at them girls. She would beat up them girls,” Pollard said about Weston

IMO they were smoozing the woman. She was in a wheelchair even if she wasn't mentally incompetent. I think it is possible that she may have been exploring the possibility of convincing her to 'move' in with LW so LW could 'take care of her'. Once she signed a power of attorney then she would have been treated just like the others.

So setting up potential prey she was likely on her very best, most helpful attitude. And the witness most likely was happy to company, and the assistance and was able to turn a blind eye or make excuses for the beatings. Maybe even thought that it was the disabled people harming each other.

Sounds like LE is embarrassed that they missed the evidence during their search.

I'm gonna disagree with ya on that one mysteriew. The landlord had them. How'd he get ahold of them? How long did he have them?

However, I have to at least commend the man as he took some sort of action when someone complained. There are so many absentee landlord's in our neighborhoods it's impossible to get a dang lawn mowed let alone have them come alllllllllllllllllll the way from whatever cushy place they live in to take some sort of action. All they do is collect rent while we deal with the mess made by tenants who most always move when the one year lease is up.
