Here is a beautiful page of photos that Jimi Patrick's girlfriend put together. In light of the awful way he died, it would be nice to remember him like this :)

Thank you for posting. Such a tragedy. So young, so full of life with so much still yet to live.

My heart bleeds for those these boys left behind.

I have to say...after all said and done, what an exceptional and professional job by the PA LE, and the DA. They have set the investigative bar high. As a mom of a 21 year old son, I'm touched by their show of respect and sense of these boys being "our boys."
As parents, we know our kids are not perfect. They make mistakes, they make questionable choices. But in NO way did these 4 young men provoke or deserve a fate so calculating, cold, and pure evil.
I truly hope the families and community can bring these boys home and find peace.
Sadly, CD is someone's child too...may God have mercy on his venomous soul.

That is what CD said I think it was shoes or not the amount of drugs he is saying. Weed is not a reason to die and it's legal in so many states it needs to be legalized everywhere I sure hope the police look into other missing persons cases especially young men. I'm upset that he got a hold of his mothers gun, she should be held accountable. So many things about this case upset me. I still think he's lying and they need to dig up the whole property.

Legalization of weed may lessen robberies/attempted murder/murder, but it certainly won't stop all of it. I have known of people being shot and/or murdered over a 40 oz of Old English!

maybe he did tell his victim he had 4 pounds of weed, that would get them to bring as much money as they could get if money was a motive for the killing. He had an injury earlier correct? Wonder what type of pain meds he was given and how fast did the doc cut him off? Street oxy is 1 dollar a milligram so a 10 mg oxy is 10 bucks. 8 or 10 a day is an expensive habit and I would imagine he would be grouchy if he was out? Just a thought

Did they find the shot gun or rifle CD says were involved with JP? Without those, especially the shot gun, CD's story is bogus. I don't believe him at all. Only 357 & 9mm were recovered from Kratz.

I think people are misinterpreting my post about the boys and buying weed. NO ONE DESERVES TO DIE FOR ANY REASON! I'm was trying to find a way to explain that if you choose to deal with certain people you are taking a calculated risk. I live in Philadelphia (NW) part of the city. Everybody here knows everybody and if not personally they know them by name we know who to stay away from, we know who to deal with, we know who to interact with I have to believe the same was in the area that you were talking about. Meeting up with CD was a risk.

Initially it was he had issues with K2, and now it is marijuana? Why the switch I wonder
Perception/Spin I think there is more acceptance of kids using pot, so many of the states have legalized now, then K2. IMO

DA stated in 2:00 Presser that LE recovered guns related to the murders.

Why y’all sleuthing family ??

Don’t do that or you will win a WS vacation without even havingto answer a skill testing question.

i think you are mis-interpreting this law. We definitely have casinos in PA. There is a large one here. in downtown Pittsburgh right by the stadiums. You just have to be 21 to enter.

There's sugar shack casino right in Philly and Parx

Thank you for providing these documents. That said, I'm totally sick and disgusted after reading what these two were capable of doing to these young men. I do not see where any mental illness comes into this. I can see where just premeditated, cold-blooded murder comes into play. Absolutely no conscience or feeling at all. Makes me shudder.

Thank you, I wanted to get to the end of the thread before I asked that myself. Everything I have seen so far only talks about the handguns.

Food for thought - this could have happened if they were all there to buy 4 pairs of shoes. Yes, shoes are not illegal in this state and weed is. Point is, we have the benefit of hindsight to better judge exactly what the "trouble" actually was. It wasn't weed...

Yeah, and young people in that age range often get into "trouble" yet survive.

This had to do with two creeps. Not with four kids doing what they weren't supposed to. These murderers used pot as a way to lure them to their deaths. If they didn't have access to that it would've been something else.

That may be true but I truly believe that if he didn't believe most of what was recited he didn't have to repeat it. This is just my opinion I don't want to sound argumentative.

You don't sound argumentative at all, Jasp! :)

I do understand what you are saying, but for now of course he is only going to say what has been told by the killer, CD.

Every DA in this country is at their happiest when any defendant/s confesses. It locks CD in to his 'story.' He cant go back and retract it now and in so many areas it is glaringly obvious he is lying.

Imo, if this goes to trial his confession will be shredded by the Prosecutor and will not be backed upped by the evidence once its all in. IMO

I find Kratz' statements much more plausible to believe. In fact before this goes to trial I wouldn't be surprised if the DA cuts a deal with Kratz in the future for less time served or takes the DP off the table if he testifies against the mastermind (CD) who admitted he shot all four victims.

It wouldn't be the first time a named co-conspirator testified against the main perpetrator and was given a plea deal.
