I too have followed this case, am local, and the first person I thought of when I read about the digging was Holly Grim.

Amazing info about all being co-workers at Allen Organ.

Media is now openly linking Horvath to Holly. Investigators have now moved inside of home where there's "multiple items"? Horvath was arraigned for a DUI received in May this Monday, digging began on Tuesday. Horvath and his wife filed for divorce in 2013 (the year holly disappeared) and then later cancelled it. Investigators plan on being on the scene til at least next Friday. Allegedly a dog found a human arm bone (according to unconfirmed facebook comments) but this seems like a rumor to me.

Local news station reporting they spoke with Holly Grim's mother this morning. She says Holly knew Horvath but was not friend's with him.

State police contacted Holly's mother earlier in the week to tell her about the dig.

I am wondering if there is a DNA or fingerprint link between Stefanie Roof's crime scene and Holly Grim's crime scene. Perhaps Horvath has been on the radar related to Holly's disappearance but there was no evidence to warrent a search of his property until now.

Really curious to know what lead LE to this guy. His name is so familiar to me. I sure hope something comes of this. It sounds like they're being very thorough with the search.

I keep saying his name is familiar to me too. I can't place it. It's a common name though. So maybe not.
So he had his arraignment on Monday for a DUI from May, and Tuesday LE is digging in his yard. What the heck is going on?

bbm - what was her answer? Are you allowed to share?

She replied that she was unaware of any conflict or interaction between Holly and other employees.

It's been reported that Holly Grim and Michael Horvath worked together in the wood shop of Allen Organs. I don't know how large of department this was, but it seems to me that it would not be too may people (MOO). So now I'm wondering if Michael Horvath was unexpectedly absent from work on the day Holly went missing? Did anyone find this to be suspicious?.......two co-workers unexpectedly not at work on the same morning? That's unusual enough to report especially when one of those workers vanishes.

And recently another Allen Organs employee (co-worker) is found shot in her driveway?

This is too small of company and too quiet of community to not have all of the remaining co-workers noticing these occurrences and talking.

I was hoping there would be a media update this morning about the search of the house across the street from Stephanie Roof's house, and if it was related to Stephanie's murder, but there was nothing. I don't think there's anything concrete enough to link Stephanie to Horvath to Holly, other than they all worked at Allen at some point. Might just be a strange coincidence, but the timing of the police showing up yesterday was bizarre.

I was willing to give Horvath the benefit of the doubt about the human remains- he could have done nothing, but being blamed for another's actions (like his wife, a friend, ect) or the remains could have already been there when the house was built, since it's a newer home, only being built in the late 90's, and it's a very rural area where someone easily could hide a body.

But when reports came out that the couple rented a backhoe and filled in that very specific area of property where remains were found with dirt in 2014, in my mind any thoughts of possible innocence flew out the window.

According to Horvath's social media, he quit Allen Organ in 2014 and began working at Deka. I'm not sure where that company is, they seem to have multiple outlets.

I did find an arrest article from a DUI he received in May of this year:

http://www.tnonline.com/2016/may/23/area-driver-facing-dui-lehigh

What strikes me as strange is that he lives in Saylorsburg, which is almost an hour away from Macungie. Again, not sure where his place of employment is located, but it seemed weird that he was pulled over for drunk driving in Macungie, when he lives an hour away- at 10:30pm. So as of May 2016, this guy can still be placed in Holly's general location, even though he lived far away, and no longer worked in the area. It's possible he has family or friends in Macungie and visits, but it does show that this man has been in the area.

Uhh.........I just checked something. Horvath was pulled over in May for DUI at RT 222 and Mill Creek Road. According to Google maps, this is right across the street from the road Holly lived on.

Deka Battery is only 13 highway miles further to travel to work for Michael Horvath than Allen Organs. Deka is a solid company and offers good employment. The Saylorsburg area really does not have much industry. It's common for people who live in that region to have long commutes to work so I don't find that unusual.

Also, Deka is a manufacturing plant with different shifts. It's possible he worked a later shift and went out for drinks locally after work on May 3rd (date of DUI). It was a Tuesday.
