I was thinking about the relationship and it may be that the two had a big blow up over a bunch of issues - his being controlling, whether or not she was having an affair, her wanting him to be more supportive, etc. and that Autumn thought they had resolved things so she was back to wanting that second child before it was too late.
The way the probable cause affidavit was written, it does sound like she could have been having an affair but her relationship with the other neurologist could very easily have been innocent.
She was openly spending the night at the man's house, not sneaking around, and he had two children there. They could be long time platonic friends who consider the children (likely older kids) to be adequate chaperones. Also 'going to a convention' together doesn't mean the same thing as going on vacation together. It could have been phrased like that because the two were collaborators planning to present a paper together or planning a collaboration and attending those particular conventions to hear related research presented. I just don't want to accept the opinion of a man who is charged with murder unless there is more evidence.
I read the probable cause affidavit. We've already discussed all the information in it here, but seeing it all pulled together is just damning for Ferrante!
