Thanks, TMAN2014. I haven't posted since the Shane Montgomery case, such a sad outcome. Every time I drive along the Schuylkill I think of Shane and say a prayer RIP. Now, another one missing. A beautiful young college kid, leaving a bar alone at 2:00 AM and can't be found. Family and friends are frantic. Sounds all too familiar and makes me sad. I'm hoping against hope that Jenna is found safe and comes home to her loved ones soon.Perkiomen, welcome back. Your avatar is the case when I joined the forum.
From an article on thetab.com (I think, I will link it in a following post because my phone will erase all of this if I leave this and click on the website now, really frustrating, blahblah )This..who was the last to see her and who reported her missing? Hmmm....

"After talking to TUPD, Burleigh's aunt, Maureen Zazyczny, claims Burleigh left the bar with an unnamed man who was later questioned by police. According to Zazyczny, the man said in the interview he and Burleigh parted ways later that night, and he hasn't seen her since."
So it seems this "man" was the last to see her and all other articles I've read said that her parents went to temple police Thursday morning to report her disappearance. And they say they-police in Philadelphia AND lower salford are "aggressively" following up on all tips and leads. It does seem alarming how quickly they've alerted the public, so they must have info they aren't sharing.
Well, God Bless you, but this is North Philadelphia. There's a lot of crime, and it is never a bad idea to take precautions, and walk in groups if possible, especially at late hours while drinking. There are a lot of crazy people out there. I am sure Temple preaches that to the students.
The area of the city around temple's campus is not at all safe, not even in the middle of the day. I have a cousin who was mugged twice, once at knifepoint and both times during the day. Safety is a concern and I'd imagine the female students are cautioned to walk in groups when off campus.
I love this.I'm 22 and in a decent sized city and I'm always out walking alone at night...
So this article seems to give the impression that she was on her own. At least that's how I read in between the lines.

"His roommate told police he found stains in certain areas of the home that looked as though someone had tried to clean up some blood.
Sources say Pennsylvania State Police picked the friend up at his grandmother's house in Scranton on Friday afternoon.
After questioning, police were able to obtain a search warrant for the off-campus home."
Not sure if the guy referred to in this reporter's tweet is the same one whose questioning was mentioned above, but it's interesting that the man who's been "detained" was all the way up in Scranton (a good 90-120 minute drive north of Temple's main campus in North Philly).
