Her disappearance has now been reported in the Lehigh Valley area.

Not sure if this is at all relevant, especially without any additional information about Ms. Padgett, but Holly Grim went missing under suspicious circumstances on the Friday before Thanksgiving, last year on November 22, 2013, after taking her son to the bus stop at the Red Maples Mobile Home Park in Lower Macungie. She has not been located and her case is still active.

These two places are less than 15 miles apart and according to route and traffic it is only about 30 minutes drive time. Just thought it may be worth mentioning. Hope she is found soon and safe

Eerie timing. Both the Friday before Thanksgiving. Close in proximity. I think there could very well be a connection.

"I want my big sister back," says pregnant sister of missing Whitehall Township woman
An emotional, nine-months-pregnant sister of a Whitehall Township woman gone missing Friday is pleading for the public's help to bring her safely home. Kristi Davis of Maryland, says her sister was supposed to go to her stepfather's house -- just five miles from the childcare facility -- to fax over some paperwork. At 1 p.m., Padgett had sent Davis, who is due next week with a daughter, a Facebook message telling her, "I want to see my niece being born." "She's my only sister," Davis said. "I want my big sister back."

I joined the forum because I live near where Jessica is from and wanted to be able to post things that I find that may be helpful. I have these 2 things saved from FB pages. One is more photos of her that her sister shared...

Was the paperwork she was faxing anything relevant? Something someone wanted to stop?

It was mentioned that the security cameras at or around the Dollar General were aimed in a different direction than where Jessica's car was located. I'd really like to know who owns those cameras and if it's common knowledge amongst employees at the business, or others in the general area as to where the blind spots are. Seems quite "coincidental" that the car just so happens to be found in an area where the cameras can't see.

Seems to me that Eastern PA, particularly the greater Lehigh Valley area, has become a not very safe place for women. Also seems to me that extra steps, such as widely available self defense classes for women may be very much needed in this area.

Uncanny similarities.... IMO....

Police say there is no indication of foul play so far but they continue to investigate. Padgett's sister, Kristi Davis, told NBC10 her disappearance was extremely out of the ordinary however. Padgett recently got married in September and would never leave her three children, according to Davis.

"She wouldn't just not go back to work," Davis said. "They're not sure if she was taken, if she left on her own or if she knew the person. There wasn't a sign of a struggle. So we're not sure what happened."

Since Padgett's disappearance, friends and family have posted fliers and created a Facebook page as the search continues.

"This is not something that happened at night," said Jim Wilkins, a friend of Padgett's. "This was smack dab in the middle of the day. The community needs to be made aware because somebody out there knows something."

The last sentence reminds me of Holly Grim, too.

One article says that Jessica's car was found 7 miles from her work at the daycare and that it was a 15 minute drive to the Dollar Store. Then another article says it was a mile from her work to where the car was left. Which is it? Her cell phone was in the car. It didn't say if the car was locked. Her work takes care of up to 45 children ages 8 weeks to 12 years. Their web site said they have changed the codes to get in the doors at the day care due to her disappearance. They also have counselors on hand in case staff or children need to talk to someone. It says they are not talking about the subject in front of the children and are only saying positive things in front of them about hoping she will return safe soon. It is very concerning that women disappear totally in the middle of the day from places that one wouldn't expect to be high in crime--and no one sees or hears a thing. I wonder if the workers in the dollar store said she came in there and shopped or not, and at what time. And if they (or anyone) saw her leave the store. If she was going to send a fax, was there someplace to do it near the dollar store? Was this on her work time or on a lunch hour or break? Articles said she didn't come back to work, so I assume it wasn't the end of her shift. I hope she will be found safe and soon. The whole thing is quite scary.

Padgett also did some work for Distinctive Fence Co. in Northampton, which is where she was headed to send a fax when she disappeared, said her sister, Kristi Davis. Police are looking for video surveillance camera footage that could shed light on her disappearance.

"It was so weird, it was the middle of the day," said Davis, who is expecting a child in a week and said she is distraught. "I don't get it."

Davis, who lives in Havre de Grace, Md., said her last contact with her sister came at around 1 p.m. Friday when Jessica sent her a Facebook message telling her she looked forward to meeting her future niece.

"She was on her way to fax something," Davis said. "She's a happy person who loves her kids and loves being around people. She'd do anything for anybody."

Kristi Davis of Maryland, says her sister was supposed to go to her stepfather's house -- just five miles from the childcare facility -- to fax over some paperwork.

Padgett's white Subaru Outback was found by police at the Dollar General parking lot in Northampton, but Padgett was gone.

At 1 p.m., Padgett had sent Davis, who is due next week with a daughter, a Facebook message telling her, "I want to see my niece being born."

"She's my only sister," Davis said. "I want my big sister back."

Hundreds have taken to a Facebook page, titled, "Help Find Jessica Padgett" in search of the missing woman and posted flyers around Northampton Sunday morning.

Padgett, a mother of two and stepmother of one, would never leave her children behind, Davis said. The family had just celebrated her wedding to husband, Mica Padgett, on Sept. 6 in Walnutport.

She also held a second job at Distinctive Fence Co. in Northampton, Davis said.

Now that second article tells the details a bit different from the article before it.

So she was faxing from her step-father's home or business? Did she even get there?

If I am correct, this is at least the third, if not fourth female missing from the same general area.

May Jessica Be Found Today, and Safe.

Is Philadelphia far - from my research seems about an hour away. a body was found there - white, female - about 35 not identified yet -
http://mobile.philly.com/news/breaking/?wss=/philly/news/breaking&id=283648411&

Woman was identified. Not Jessica.

http://www.philly.com/philly/news/local/20141124_Body_of_missing_woman_found_naked_in_S__Philly.html

Bystanders in the Columbus Commons shopping center had already witnessed a surreal scene unfold yesterday afternoon, watching police examine the naked, bloody body of Crystal Goodwin, visible among the litter and weeds behind a warehouse on Delaware Avenue near Dilworth Street.

Just a thought. Did she get to the store and was waiting on somebody? The text sent to her sister 10 minutes later would put her there about that time, right? Sometimes when I am waiting on somebody I will send a text, clear out old messages, etc. just to pass the time. Just thought maybe she was sitting there for some reason and someone approached her at her car. JMO. Truly hope there is some direction on this - it sounds like she was on the brink of a wonderful new life.

Just saw this when checking the philly news. Very sad and seems like there are no leads that the public is aware of. Hopefully they have traffic cameras in the area and can look at those as well to see if any cars are entering or leaving parking lot or area of where her car was found, locate those people and ask if anyone saw anything suspicious. It's pretty much all over the local philly news so I would hope anyone who saw anything, saw her in parking lot, etc, would call.
