There isn't anything listed for Lisa Smith past 8/3.
There was supposed to be something for King on 8/2, but it's not showing on the record. Nothing listed beyond that.
 
I'm not finding anything new on either of these two. There should be something, so I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I'll keep trying.

Edited to say: I figured out what I was doing. Nothing new for Smith. King has a misc. court hearing today.

Oh and actually the next date listed for Lisa IS the jury trial. Nothing for King.
 
For King the very bottom of the docket sheet says his private attorney withdrew. There are 3 names, so not sure who is gone.
Lisa Smith trial scheduled for 6/17/19.
 
On my notes I have them both going to trial on June 17th. Wondering if they will split these 2 into two different trials, since his attorney withdrew? Hope not!

Hope you all don't mind me tagging you! I need HELP!!

I have:
Monday, Oct. 1st:
*Misc. Hearing for King only (@ 1:30pm ET) Hearing – PA – Tahjir Smith (4) (Jan. 22, 2018, Willow Grove; beaten for spilling cereal) – Lisa Smith (19) “mom” & Keiff King (26) BF charged with 1st & 3rd degree murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, aggravated assault & child endangerment. No bail for both.
Had Prelim hearings on 1/31/18, 4/6/18, 4/18, 4/25, 5/11 & 7/5/18.
Montgomery Cnty-no access
7/17/18 Update: Next Omnibus Pretrial Motions hearing on 8/2 for both.
8/2/18 Update: Defense files motions to suppress evidence (Tahjir’s statements to relatives & Smith’s interview with LE). Judge takes it under advisement. If convicted of first-degree murder Smith and King, who is represented by defense lawyer Jeremy-Evan Alva, would face life imprisonment. A conviction of third-degree murder carries a possible maximum sentence of 20 to 40 years in prison. Trial for both set for June 17, 2019. No further dates given.
10/1/18 Update: King due in court today 10/1. Montgomery County Judge Risa Vetri Ferman on Friday ruled prosecutors may present evidence at the trial of Smith & King of the observations relatives made about the physical condition & behavior of toddler Tahjir Smith. King’s private attorney has withdrawn from the case. No update as of 10/31


 
Their jury trial is still scheduled to begin 6/17/2019. On 11/29/2018, papers were served scheduling King's trial for 6/17 again. I'm guessing it was pulled from the schedule when the lawyer stuff happened.

Gregory L. Nester is the attorney that withdrew. King has private conflict counsel, which is slightly different than a private attorney. His lawyer is still court appointed. He just works with the public defender office instead of for them due to the conflict of interest that would come from both defendants being represented by public defenders.

Yes, trial for Lisa Smith is 6/17/19. I got tired of navigating the court website as it is a bit cumbersome and confusing, which is why I only posted the docket event data for Keiff King. :confused:
There are actually TWO cases (with multiple charges) for each defendant (King, Smith), and I haven't reviewed it all to make sense of it.
And I just realized that my copy/paste for King's case has errors with some of the words. The copy/paste function strings all of the words together and I have to separate the sections of the column fields. Grrrrrr. I'll re-do a post for King's case. o_O
