Please, help us try to get Beth home before Christmas. Please share the new information, perhaps her story will sound familiar to someone who knew her back then. We need to flood Tennessee with her information.

If the findings are correct, Beth Doe was born and spent her early childhood in western or central Europe. She moved to the United States as a child or a teenager. She spent at least five to 10 years in the United States before her murder.

She also most likely became pregnant in this country. And she probably lived in the Southeast, possibly somewhere in eastern Tennessee

A Tranquil, Country Setting, On The Site Of The Former County Home.

The whole area there is quite spooky, I have been there several times, there are many folk lore stores from the surrounding areas there, just as I'm sure there are in many small towns. The poor farm was there at that time, the only thing standing from the poor farm is part of an artesian well, I felt the need to break off a piece of the concrete, I wondered if she had been in or near any of the abandoned buildings before she was killed. One of the barns was burned to the ground between the 19th and 20th of December 76. Not that I believe in a lot of the folk lore talk but there is talk of sacrifice and worshiping.

Yes the barn burned to the ground, another building on the property at that time was a butcher shop. It happened sometime after midnight, that Sunday night into Monday. While looking on microfilm for stories on her I came across the news article of the fire, later it was labeled arson, no one was ever charged. I tried to get information under the freedom of information act but no one seems to know where the records on this fire are located, told the records probably no longer exist, I was trying to find if they had any suspects. The State Police was supposed to have investigated but I was kinda given the run around as to where the records would be if at all.

If I Recall Correctly, Beth and her unborn baby girl are believed to have been tossed from the

Westbound Shoulder of the Interstate 80 Bridge, just before it crosses the Lehigh River.

This is about 9 Road-Miles from their Grave, located on the grounds of the

former Carbon County Home / Poor House.

Yes it is about that many miles, I was trying to say her grave is on the former grounds of the old county home property, which is now a tree farm.

Buck Mountain has a vast array of hiding spots, so yes if he were local the mountain would be a great spot, was thinking more on the lines of someone who grew up in that area or went hunting in that area. Or even had family who lived in the poor house. I tried to get a list of names of the residents without luck. Someone who knew the buildings were abandoned, knew of the butcher shop on the property. Even now, the houses in that area are pretty much separated, the only one I saw was across from the well. Back then I would imagine since the farm was shut down there probably wasn't much traffic except for people going to Buck Mountain, I think the road goes that way, there are many winding, hilly roads, and old graveyards, a friend of mine who used to live in the area drove us around. I would get lost on my own.

All of a sudden it feels very similar to the serial killer we had locally. The first bodies were found on a remote part of the grounds of a private school, and it turned out the perp was the son of a former caretaker and had lived there for several years as an adolescent.

Maybe he did and that's why the remnant we see doesn't make sense.

Maybe he knew it wasn't anything that could identify him.

Maybe he wrote it there himself.

I was thinking the same thing, they knew it wasn't anything that could identify them, so why take the time to wipe it off. If it was put there on purpose it could even be letters to try and mislead the police. I was even playing around with the idea in my head the the SR letters could mean senior, maybe thinking it was a boy raising an already lofty ego. Sometimes I wonder if the child had been a boy if the body of the baby would be missing. It just seems strange that someone would be so careful cutting her stomach to get this baby out. Why be so careful if you plan on killing the baby anyway. She might have told this person that they would never get to see this baby because she was leaving.

Just to follow the train of thought that the baby might have been rejected because she was female, what if it was because the baby was white, but the boyfriend/husband was not?
