What do we think? Obviously it is not the same pregnancy and ,by looking at this picture, I am doubting that she was blonde haired and blue eyed. Height, weight, age, and date of disappearance fit. No one was looking for Debra in 1976. I haven't been able to find out much more about her.

Age at Disappearance: 17
Date of Birth: 1955-05-24
Race: Caucasian
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4" (162.56cm)
Weight: 115lbs (52.16kgs)
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Blue
Distinguishing Features: Was pregnant at the time of disappearance. Long hair. Medium build.
Clothing Worn at time of disappearance: Unknown
File #: 1983-0020
Agency: RCMP
Additional Information:
On August 2, 1982 the Gimli RCMP received information from a Gimli resident that in 1972 a Debbie RICHARDSON arrived to Gimli to visit her brother. According to this report, she stayed with him in Gimli for approximately three months and then went missing. Through the resulting investigation it was learned her brother last saw Debra in October 1972, when he dropped her off on a highway so she could hitchhike to Winnipeg. She has not been seen since. To date, no family members have had any contact with RICHARDSON and her whereabouts remain unknown.

Do you know if they have her dental record. A while back there were several posts about Beth dental records. Now, when I look for a resemblance in any photo's my eyes go straight for the front teeth since Beth's two front teeth had a hole right in the middle. If Lori has a dental chart available it would help.

Looks like Lori is In Namus and has both dna and dental available so this is likely a rule out. I also don't see any mole on lori's left check (mentioned on Beth doe) however both have a prominent gap between their front teeth.

Welcome to WebSleuths, Earth, Please Keep Posting.

I know she was listed with all the brown haired girls in the first thread, but has anyone looked at Trenny Gibson other than that?

Thank you for the PM, and thank you all for remembering my sister as you try to identify the angels resting in graves marked unknown. As sad as it is, in the case of Beth Doe I truly can not say. Beth had fillings and she had missing teeth. Debbie had neither when she vanished in February 1972, but many things can change in 4 years.
When I look at Beth's composite I do see Debbie's eyes. Big, sad, almost pleading with you eyes. Beth's physical description is certainly a match for my sister. 3 of us have given DNA and have it stored in CODIS, so it would not take long for them to do a comparison to determine if Beth Doe could be my sister.
I'm sorry, I wish I could say one way or the other, but I hate composites in so many ways. I do not want to say yes it could be her, or no it couldn't be her, based only on an artists opinion of how this girl may have looked while alive.

After reviewing Beth's dental x-rays, which note a gap between her 2 front teeth, I can fairly much rule my sister out. lowe_debora3.jpg This is a actual photo of my sisters teeth, as you can see they were very tightly fit together.

While reading today news on CNN, Ii found an interesting article somehow related to this case (if I am not mistaken).

Namely, they were talking about trying to exhume a body of a boy deceased in Florida's Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys. Then it was mentioned something new (at least) for me. Here is a snippet:

"For one particularly high-profile case -- a pregnant teen found dismembered in suitcases in 1976 -- Kimmerle's team analyzed the woman's hair and teeth. Via isotope testing, Kimmerle was able to determine where the woman lived based on the water she consumed while alive.

Though police have yet to solve the case, they now know she was born in Europe and immigrated to the Southeastern United States at age 12, McAndrew said."

I used to follow this case earlier, but with other things going on, I haven't been here for while. Is this info about this case or I got confused? If this was mentioned already, I apologize.

Is this info about this case or I got confused?

Your not confused. It looks like that is Beth that they are talking about. Thank you for finding and posting that! I had seen some info about Europe/Mediterranean heritage before but never the southeast info.

she was born in Europe and immigrated to the Southeastern United States at age 12

Well that just blew the heck out of most of the girls I've been looking at recently. I thought I had a couple good ones too. :tantrum:

So based on her possible age she should have immigrated between 1964-1972. 1965 Immigration Act changed a lot of the visa process so immigration was more open to a host of countries where it had previously been more limited.

Wildly speculating here: I was looking at some interactive census maps for 1970 and Luzerne and Lackawanna counties to the north had a decent foreign born population due to the coal mining. It makes me wonder about the bedspread. Somewhere it is described as 'having been pink but was worn and dirty so it appeared more coral in color.' I always assumed that it may have been someplace like a hunting cabin because it looked kind of worn for her to want to keep it. I'm wondering if the 'dirty' part is likely coal dust from washing it with other items in a coal camp.

Anyway, Florida seemed to have one of the healthiest foreign born populations in the southeast circa 1970.

When you immigrated here from Europe in that time frame, was fingerprinting part of the process?

Florida had something like 8% foreign born population circa 1970 and a good amount are European. Most of the other states ran 2% or less from what I saw. Why the jump for Florida? Did European immigrants pick oranges?

Thanks. It's been ages since I looked at this, but I really hope anyone working on this girl could at least look at Debora, but I think she, Patricia, Dorothy and Ramona are best looked at.

The first time I saw Beth's recon, I thought "she looks Eastern European". Then I read that she is believed to have come from Europe, and that kind of solidified it in my head. I think it's highly likely that she could be Polish or Balkan, like maybe Bosnian, Serbian, or even Albanian. She just has that "look" to me.

As for her spending time in Tennessee or another Southern state, that part is really interesting to me. Some larger and mid-sized cities have Bosnian refugee populations; I went to high school with four separate Bosnian families. They mostly kept to themselves and didn't befriend the other students.

Her family might have moved back home and left her behind because she married an American, or she could have been disowned in some way. That's why nobody has looked for her. Then again, I could be reading way too much into all of this.
