The other day I was thinking a lot about Beth Doe and Bitter Creek Betty, kinda felt that there would be a major announcement.

RIP Evelyn. I'm absolutely astonished by this. This was one of the top 3 doe cases I wanted solved the most. I wasn't expecting her to get identified for at least a few more years. Had a feeling her killer was still mostly likely alive as well.

According to her brother's statement, she was not reported missing. She was living with her boyfriend.

This is stunning news! I always had some hope, but I didn't know if they would ever be able to identify her and her baby. This gives me so much more hope for other Does and cold cases.

I audibly cheered when I found out she was identified. This made my entire month.

I had always suspected that both Evelyn and her killer were both very young. I will be incredibly shocked if Evelyn and Luis don't have some sort of close affiliation with one another. I wonder if Luis is the "boyfriend" with whom Evelyn was living when she disappeared.

I will now gladly remove "Beth Doe" from my signature and replace it with the proper name.

EDIT: I accidentally referred to Evelyn as "Beth" once in my message. This just doesn't seem real. I am overjoyed that she has been identified.
