Oh Logical how I have missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sandetoze - thanks so much for sharing and .....:yourock:

Haha - so you remember my time away! :blowkiss: Not even Baez gets up my nose as badly as Mason. :floorlaugh:

It's one thing to twist the facts in this case like Baez does, but Mason makes grandiose statements and never did bother to read either the evidence or the depos, or watch any of the videos. He just decided without facts what happened in this case and from his point of view - that's it period.

Nothing makes me crazier. There are lots of opinions about this case, but one thing is not in dispute - and that's the evidence...:banghead:

Call me amazingly naive but I still find it hard to believe even though I saw it happen with my own eyes and heard it with my own ears it is still hard for me to believe that winning is so important to people like Baez, Mason and Dorothy - more important than justice for a murdered child. And then to have the utter gall to boast about it afterwards.

And Baez and Mason wonder why they aren't now and never will be perceived as "stars" or "respected defense lawyers" - but in fact are looked upon with disgust by the majority of people. :waitasec:
Makes me think it would be like my dog pooping on my carpet and then rubbing my face in it. For that they want respect?...:banghead:

They also want that big payday they dreamt about. Don't think they pondered that most view them "winning" as luck with the jury not their knowledge of law

My boyfriend commented that it looks like Mason has lost some weight since the trial. I said yeah sure, from the stress of dealing with Casey and the fact that she claims she has no income to pay him so food must be scarce these days.

You arer all very welcome - it was my please to be able to contribute first hand about the Forum

One other thing, Jeff A was surprised when I told him I read every page of every document dump, watched the trial every day and then read his book. I told him that I am not in the minority either - that the boards have disected those documents page by page.

It's almost been a year. I am surprised that none of the "players" in this drama have really come out with the truth. Mason, in all his hubris suggests he knows it..but what is his price? And, by God, you know there is a price! Aston, told a little bit...but not much beyond what we already know. Linda...God bless her...will not..but I hope will, one day.

I would read anything by the cops in this case...who found the tapes at the video store? Target? Excellent detective work.

I would read anything the Grunds would have to say.

I would read anything the Plesea's would have to say (truthfully)

I would love to read what Cindy's co-workers have to say.

I would love to read what anyone on Hopespring Dr. has to say.

I would love to hear from Mallory's parents/friends

I would love to hear what any member from Steve and Cindy Camp's church has to say ( and how come we haven't heard anyone from this church yet?)

Can we please have the truth? (Like we don't know it already?)

Ummm - er.....his "family" didn't want him to attend. Makes as much sense as his post verdict media interview and the verdict itself. You didn't really think he would have the courage to show up and answer questions,:seeya: did you?

This I don't get. He's a grown man with kids and he can't pay his own way to the conference? His family forbid him from coming? How exactly do you forbid an adult from doing anything? I guess he doesn't pay for anything and his family pays everything for him. No wonder he voted Casey innocent.

LOL...I heard "family" as well as "parents". He's getting younger and younger.

Well apparently, according the above article, he's thirty five, no kids, and lives with his parents. He's probably sponging off of them, and that's why he couldn't come. They wouldn't pay for a plane ticket. That's just sad. I'm one year older than him, have two jobs, am married with a stepchild and a dog, am responsible for myself and my family, and together, my husband and I pay our own way. My family doesn't forbid me from doing anything. What a waste of space he is. He and Casey should slum together.

Moderator says JB opens by telling us that my client is a liar and this is the reason. She was sexually abused and taught to be kept silent. Was there an advantage that everything was a lie. This case is maddening. If it was an accidental drowning why go to so much trouble covering it up as a murder and if it was a murder why would you put up the Fusion pictures? Why wouldn't you sit at home crying.

JA says that no one has ever seen a person like CA before. He says that he admires her ability to lie and maintain it for years in exact detail and never making a mistake and adjusting it on the fly.

CM says you are assuming that CA had anything to do with the concealment of the child. He says that he isn't at liberty to say how the child ended up in the swamp.

WOW!!! I haven't read through the whole thread, but this -the bolded part- this really is disappointing, how could any one admire anything about FCA. I do not understand that statement :-(

Maybe he chose the wrong wording and he admires her memory.
It would be pretty difficult to come up with so many mistruths/stories/lies and keep them straight for any normal person.

I would have loved to watch this and I tired loading. Didn't work. Is this archived somewhere?

I, for one, am glad that the jury foreman did not show. If his family was behind his sudden cancellation, than I would suggest that he's got a good, supportive family, who looked out for his best interest.

What would have been served by his speaking at this event? Nothing good I suspect, and I think it would have had the effect of tearing open a large gaping wound that was on its way to mending - haven't we had enough of that already?

I just substitute the words "was amazed by" for "admires" and that makes it much more palatable.....:rocker:

BBM. Agree. I don't want to hear excuses for the inexcusable.

So CM knows very well what exactly happened, not suprised he would say he didn't know prior what JB was going to "propose" in the O/S, that IMO was the whole strategy...right you didn't know, he probably made it up for JB to present. So he more or less is saying " I know she killed her child but guess what, she was proven innocent and I'm not going to say anything else" The same man who advised her to take a plea, didn't know she was guilty? I wish a judge would have been the deciding factor on the verdict instead of 12 dumb dumbs. Really? the foreman is an unemployed, 30 something year old still living with his parents and that's the mind we want for justice?

The point I was making is he is a grown man. I have a supportive family too, but they can't forbid me from doing anything nor would they try to. I am grown woman and make my own decisions. Obviously, he depends on mom and dad or other family members to pay his way for him and make decisions for him if they can forbid him from doing something. He is a child at 35. I just think it's highly weird that a grown man was forbidden to do something by his family.

Anyway, I do agree that he has nothing to say, though. You're right about that. I had thought I wanted to hear from him, but thinking on it a bit more, I realize I don't want to hear anything more from him at all. So it's for the best that he didn't come.
