It can also come from medication withdrawal, and similar movements can be seen as an acute side effect...so this was a long answer to your question, but basically the symptoms can be seen with any dose in some people.

I don't know if she's on any antipsychotics, but that could explain the jerking. It would also indicate to me that her psychiatric problems are above and beyond your average depression and anxiety :eek:

Paris is out in public (with photogs following her) a lot. If this was the problem, looks like a photog would have caught it before now.

Not the night before. the night OF. She went to the awards and then turned herself in after. That way she got credit for the whole day.

Exactly. She should have come prepared with a doctor letter and a pescription. If she ws medicated when she came in and the dosage needed to be maintained, how did she think she would get the meds if she didn't tell anyone? It's all fishy IMO. It is being made out to be a very important med, so why in the world would she not come prepared? I would think she would be extremely worried and scared about getting what she needed.
I listened to the pc also, and I think Baca made it clear it was a mental issue not a physical one.
I would guess if she had a mental probelm this severe her parents would be aware of it. In which case wouldn't you think they would be concerned about her missing a dose?

I agree - doesn't add up. The mere fact that she was seen by her psychiatrist or psychologist at the jail confirms 'mental' to me.

So did Baca do the press conference after the court hearing? If so, why was he waving the medical report around? Why wasn't it in the hands of the Judge?

Don't they ask if you are on any medications? Isn't it the criminals place to inform of what they are taking? I know that a lot of folks taken in don't have doctors excuses but surely if they are going to a facility with medical they have the way to evaluate and prescribe?

Some people are making it out like it's this big secret condition when it's obvious she's mental. Most people with mental problems take medication....most of us keep it with us when we travel too :-)

As for making her out to be an idol, I'm using it as a teaching tool. Showing my kids what being lazy and having no education will get you. Also brought up a good subject such as drinking and driving, eating disorders and basically anything she does, do the opposite. Nothing like having a real live breathing icon of stupidity to help you teach your kids what not to do.

She's not the only one btw, I use most celebs who do stupid things as teaching tools. Gives me a chance to reinforce common sense to my kids, esp when they see what having none will get ya.

The GOSSIP I read said the abscesses were brought on from a severe stress related herpes outbreak AFTER she was in jail. And an outbreak of Herpes is very frequently brought on by stress - both the oral and genital types. So the GOSSIP is that she was NOT having a bad outbreak UNTIL she went to jail and the related stress made it occur or worsen severely.

And I think I would not want the entire universe to know about such an outbreak- and I doubt anyone here would want that type of national news on TV and online about themselves - she DOES had the RIGHT to not have that babbled in a press conference or in open court. Her medical records - both mental and physical should be allowed to be private. Just because she is a celebrity in jail does not give US the right to know specifics in her medical records or mental health reports.

Unless it was from withdrawal or a side effect of a new med her psychiatrist gave her after she left jail. But like I said, it's just a guess. It could be from withdrawal from illegal drugs too, or maybe she's just twitchy when she gets upset ;)
 
Does anyone else think those clothes Paris had on were an attempt to lend credit to her "mental condition?"

He was saying that he had it in his hand, but was not going to distribute it.
He also said, it was not like a broken arm or something physical that they could see and fix. The report was from a private psychiatrist and backed up by a county shrink that had seen her as late as 2 today. IIRC.

Most jails have trained officers who have been trained to deal with persons with mental problems. And any mental problem they cannot handle usually gets shipped to a state mental hospital. Wonder if that is a possibility?

LOL...she is an idiot. Even her MOMMY or her MONEY couldn't get her out of this deal.

I'd like to think she'll learn a lesson, and understand the seriousness of what she's done, and change. But I'd not put money on this.

Her attorney asked the Judge for a private in chambers meeting when they were in court today so they could discuss her "medical issues" without it being heard in open court and he denied the request.

The judge did say he would "evaluate" her medical information next week. I do agree she needs to pay her "debt" but what they did to her was cruel. In-Out-In and she has no control over any of it. I don't get the "hate" over this - Paris was not in control of ANY of decisions that were made AFTER she surrendered herself to jail.

Twiin Towers can handle mental issues.
