I know of NO inpatient Psychiatric hospital in Texas which is private ( vs. state facility) that has a " 1 year psych. program". Um, the cost would be astronomical and who would go knowing it is at least one full year? How much confidence can you have that a therapy team will cure your depression or whatever if they want one year up front?
Shades of Hope ( Buffalo Gap, TX ) has a 30-45 day treatment program for eating disorders, depression, etc. and they are exceptional for this length of stay!!

There is SO much wrong with this. The materialism they exhibit in the " Destiny" magazine ( along with her cleavage) is not what I was taught about Christ-like qualities... He put her out there in 2007 as a trophy wife!!

Ohmygosh, I hope she left him and is alive and well. This has my hinky meter zinging. NOT good. Totally implausible.

I so agree. Her words were very robot like in that article and not a lot of substance to them at all. I don't find her very credible as an "apostle" at all. Especially the way she was dressed.

Read the story he tells about their marriage seminars again. It's in both links.
Note the amount of money he throws around.. He was making money on his own marriage's success, TONS of money, every year, and had to stop, finally, because he says that people were becoming aware of Hope's affairs with other men.

He's highly agitated about the loss of income, as he seems to be all about money. Not God. I hope she is alive, but I wouldn't take HIS word for it.
 
Go to You Tube and read the comments there about the current " debacle".

I haven't heard back from my submission, I will follow up with it if I haven't heard anything by Tuesday at noon. I will call instead of just e-mailing and I'll ask to speak wih a detective with domestic violence experience.
 
Initials embroidered on their bedroom pillows? Are they afraid they'll forget who they are? Do they have some odd need to mark their pillows from someone else's to avoid confusion? Or just that in love with themselves?:floorlaugh:
 
It's frightening to me that these fakes have so many followers. And I do hope the authorities ensure this woman is somewhere safe. I truly have my doubts. IF she was really living this exciting, sexual "double life," I'm thinking she wouldn't agree to be in isolation for a year. Nope.

Thank you for posting that link. Agree, it is very poorly written however, what caught my attention was her comment in it regarding being a "broken mass (mess?)" when she and her husband met. Curious exactly what that referred to. Through the photos and on the surface everything appears to be too good.

Totally agree - there is a lot wrong with this entire scenario, including, in my opinion, her attire. However, that is how I have seen many "people of God" on TBN in the past along with the prosperity messages. Hopefully she is alive and well, but my instincts tell me otherwise and something is being covered up in order to keep the money rolling into the megachurch.

I hadn't even heard of this until I stumbled upon the thread while trying to see what was new here @ WS tonight and from the thread title was curious which megachurch was being referred to.

Just watched part of the 10/20 and 10/23 sermons. He's not at all what I expected after first seeing the glamour photos of her and their extravagant home.

She's promising husbands a better sex life, if they let their wives attend the women's conference. Tells them their wives will rock their world. Wrong to preach about on so many levels. It was not a sermon at all to me, but more like a Dr. Ruth sermon.

Not a church with Christian teachings, on so many levels. However, again, hopefully she is safe somewhere. Just cannot believe she is in extended treatment and for what?
