I hope the jury considers the fact that just because JW says there's no procedure in place now to let CM out, laws can change. Didn't lots of death row criminals have their sentences changed to LWOP when CA (I think) changed the law there?

HLN didn't air the jury question. What was it exactly?

Jurors were just being reinstructed on if life meant she will never get out. JM and JW just spoke.

My new theme song for Jodi....The Party's Over

It's time to call it a day
They've burst your pretty balloon
And taken the moon away
It's time to wind up the masquerade
Just make your mind up the piper must be paid

The party's over
The candles flicker and dim
You danced and dreamed through the night
It seemed to be right just being with him
Now you must wake up, all dreams must end
Take off your makeup, the party's over
It's all over, my friend

I still can't get out of my mind the interview when Jodi said to Flores....paraphrasing: '...well, whoever did kill Travis is sitting pretty somewhere.'

Her choice of words always gives her away. It's herself she wants to be "sitting pretty" somewhere. On camera preferred. And with no remorse, to this day feeling justified in what she did.

Can't remember, but didn't they show up Friday in their best bib and tucker, probably thinking (like many of us) that they were going to wrap it up that day? Well, this being the Jodi Arias Show, that didn't happen, so maybe they showed up in casual garb today just to throw her off her game. ;)

This jury didn't seem to have a problem with murder in the first, with extreme cruelty, so I don't see them suffering too much angst over giving her the DP. It is the right and just thing to do.

I am going to hold out hope that this jury is as have been described....intuitive and attentive....because IF they are, I have no doubt that they picked up on the same thing I did when Jodi performed her 19 minute speech in court yesterday.

Her performance was nothing short of being directed at Travis' family only in order to victimize them one last time.

Every word she spoke was to counter a statement made by either Samantha or Stephen. Someone already pointed out Samantha's statement of TRAVIS being the rock of the family...Jodi "corrects" that statement with GRANDMA was the rock...

But don't think I saw mentioned that Samantha stated that as a result of Travis' brutal murder, Grandma's health took a sudden downward spiral until her death this year (jury selection).

Jodi "corrected" that statement by throwing in that she recalled a phone call from Travis at Christmas in 2007 (she thinks) where he stated his Grandma was very ill and "probably won't make it".... INSINUATING THAT GRANDMA WAS ALREADY ON DEATH'S DOOR in 2007...NOT BECAUSE OF THAT SHE DID TO TRAVIS!!!!

I could pick apart her whole performance and show statement by statement that Jodi wasn't pleading for her life...she was taking advantage of an opportunity to trash Travis and his family once again....

where are you guys watching the trial at???????????

Stupid, stupid, stupid question and I should know the answer by now but...

They don't have to be unanimous on the vote, do they? What are the rules on that?

All 12 have to vote for Death.
For life, they don't have to be unanimous in the mitigating factors they consider, but again all 12 need to vote for Life.

OMG - THAT IS NOT PANTYHOSE :banghead:

They are pink issued JAIL SOCKS!!!!!!!!!!

 and there the ones with crappy or no elastic, the ones that slide off your foot and into your shoe. Those are irritating as all get out.

I get way too much enjoyment from seeing her miserable.

I wish HLN would adopt the style of trial reporting of the early days of CourtTv - without drama, sideshows and JVM!

Now just muting HLN until jury returns verdict - which I hope is very soon!

Agree 100% Early days of CourtTV were quality reporting. Now, everything is drama and media-hype. Very sad.

Ok, this is flippin NERVE WRACKING. I am seriously on edge

Now that I have a minute to think about this, maybe there are jurors that want to show a juror who is unsure that she COULD possibly get paroled.:please::please::please::please::please:

Well I predict she'll get life. I so hope not.

I agree. They are going to give her life. For the sake of his family I wish that wasn't the case. It's going to be the Jodi show forever if she isn't given Death.

I don't understand why the question implies that they will give her life. They just want to clarify, talk, discuss and deliberate.

Same thing happened with juror questions during the guilt phase. So much panic over what the tiger/bear question meant and also the 'can a victim just snap' question.

There is no way to know what these jurors are thinking. Let them take all the time they want and ask all the questions they want. I know they will reach the verdict we al want.
