I sure hope this is finally justice for Natalee. Wonder if they have DP and if they could bargain LWOP for her location - or if they even would it he didn't kill her there. But, IMHO it would be the right thing for the family - they need closure and Natalee needs to come home.
Why oh why did another have to die at this sick ___ 's hands?

Most interesting thoughts Yaelle and I'm hoping Nancy will have Pat Brown on to get her viewpoint. If he did kill Natalee maybe she was his first and he was developing into a SK. Everything I remember about him tells me he would fit the profile.

It's so great to see all the troopers who lived Natalee's case seemingly night and day.

Sometimes life is a b*tch, and then thankfully there is Karma. xox



PS: I just heard the motel room where her body was found was in Joran's name. ETA: HLN

I would be shocked if he actually wrote that 2 hours ago. My guess is that either this is a fake Twitter or, if it is his, it was hacked. If you look at the previous posts, they are from July 2009.
 
I think the Twitter is fake, too. Why else would it be dormant for a year and then suddenly when he is in the news again, it's active?

It appears to be his real Twitter account. Not used much....but the previous tweets seem authentic. Did you notice where his location is? "Where you can't find me." I wonder if any news outlet has this yet? If someone has the Twitter name for a reporter I'll rt it. It's being retweeted already.

Just tried to look at Joran's twitter page (if it is him) and it says "Twitter is over capacity".
 
FWIW, just because the hotel room was messy, doesn't mean it wasn't him because they found nothing when they searched for Natalee. I followed that case very closely and they:

Did NOT search the main residence. There were 'friends' in high places there at the time and they told LE to forgetaboutit when they tried to serve a warrant for the main house. Of course, then that changed to it never happened,.......................but it did.

There were also witnesses who saw a moving truck at Joran's portion of the residence just days after Natalee went missing. Interesting they brought in a matteress or new bed.

Seeeee...................if you were watching the case very closely, you would see ALE say one thing here, another thing in the Aruban press, and then sometimes they'd then deny they said something...................and when you say a lie enough, people believe it.

Believe me, the corruption of the investigation of this case ran so deep, you couldn't find anyone that wasn't in on it in ALE........................

Prosecutors were transferred..................police chiefs were transferred...............friends of the POI's ran from the island like locusts with their families following (even leaving lucrative businesses behind!)......heck, after they were released, the K's dad was able to purchase the internet cafe where K worked..............no visible signs of $$, yet he had enough to purchase a going business...............

Wonder how the Dr. Phil suit is going for 'em? LOL,................they'll most likely have to pull out now! I understand at least twice the K's were a no show for a court appearance in L.A.......;)

Fox news is reporting the father of the girls said the room was 'covered in blood' and that Joran was there for a poker tournament.
 
I think the only thing that surprises me is that it took him so long to actually get caught. Like others I have to wonder if there are other murders out there he got away with, sociopathic personality that he has. I remember seeing Greta interview him and my blood ran cold - he was enjoying all the attention he was getting while unapologetically spilling forth his lies and half lies. I knew then he was one sick puppy. Hopefully they can convict him on this and save who knows how many other young womens' lives...
 
Just curious, not trying to be snarky, why do the tweets seem authentic? They are all about that reporter that he had the run-in with; it's common knowledge that anyone would have seen on the internet or news. Then there's a shout out to another fake-looking account.

I'm on my iPhone and the page is different. My gps shows an address in the uk if I tap it.

If it is fake, that person is nuts. Joran seems arrogant enough to post something like that.
