That's pretty effing rich. Maybe if they'd been shocked the first time around with Natalie this sociopath would be behind bars now and these poor Peruvian parents wouldn't have to suffer as Natalie's family has.

I can't get my computer to post pictures on here for some reason, but, if you go to www.webshots.com and put in Joran van der sloot, it comes up with 2 pictures. One appears to be a picture of him with a girl in a limo in Vegas. The picture was uploaded 5/24/2006. If it is him in that picture, I am just amazed at how he can just go from place to place without a care in the world and attract girls like does. It is scary.

An attorney for van der Sloot in New York City, Joe Tacopina, said he did not know his client's whereabouts and has not been in touch with him since the Peru allegations emerged.
Tacopina cautioned against a rush to judgment.

I don't understand what interest Joe Tacopina has in this other than to appear on TV. He represented Joran in the U.S. for a brief period of time. To the best of my knowledge, Joran hasn't ever returned to the U.S. I doubt that Joran has kept Joe T on retainer all this time. Weird. jmo

Could be. I just don't believe in coincidence with people like Joran. As the date of the Natalee's death drew near maybe his anger surfaced at his ordeal and he wanted to act out again. Maybe he got sloppy because he has such a high opinion of himself. Look at what he's gotten away with already.
