Yes. The story is posted on NG's Facebook and CNN pages that she will cover the case tonight, and JVM has already talked about the case on HLN with Mike Galonos and will cover it on her show.

This article I posted earlier sounds as if it is very easy to travel between the countries and is a frequently done thing for tourists and others.

I cannot find any warrant for VDS on Interpol. Why is there no warrant issued yet (according to CNN)?

Interpol has alerted its office in Chile and other bordering countries of the case and placed them on alert in case van der Sloot tries to leave that country, Peruvian Interpol Interim Director Gerson Ortiz told CNN.

An international arrest warrant could be issued in the next 48 hours, he said.

Joran van der Sloot is being sought for Sunday's killing of 21-year-old Stephany Flores in a Lima hotel, police chief Gen. Cesar Guardia told a news conference. He said the suspect crossed into Chile the next day by bus.

Stephany Flores' body was found face down on the hotel room floor on Wednesday, abrasions on her face and body, and signs of trauma, the police general said. He said she was clothed.

Asked if she had been asphyxiated, Guardia said he was awaiting autopsy results for the exact cause of death.

This video is one I found earlier when we were discussing prisons in Peru and Aruba. The most interesting thing on it is when the officer giving the tour talks about Joran's anger and rage issues. He is a friend of Mr. VDS and has known Joran for many years.

An attorney for van der Sloot in New York City, Joe Tacopina, said he did not know his client's whereabouts and has not been in touch with him since the Peru allegations emerged.
Tacopina cautioned against a rush to judgment.
"Joran van der Sloot has been falsely accused of murder once before. The fact is he wears a bull's-eye on his back now and he is a quote-unquote usual suspect when it comes to allegations of foul play," Tacopina said.

Or, if it is a cyclical rage, it would be interesting to learn where in the world he has been on May 30 the past few years. and if any young women were missing or murdered in the country he was in at that time.
