They would be sewer rats because that toilet hole is a pipe connected to the sewer. Actually rats are pretty smart and they first sent out a scout. If there is leftover food in his cell and the going is good/ safe, his other rat buddies will follow LOL.

My grandmother was born in Albania. Most of the surnames of her relatives ended in a vowel or a J

Yes... this morning I posted that Julia Renfro - along with a family member - had posted messages of love and good wishes to JVS after he'd left for Peru (5/14), which convinced me that there wasn't much concern over him missing his supposed upcoming confinement to a mental facility. I didn't have a link so it was dismissed as rumor and deleted. TJ Ward just confirmed.

NG talking with Jean: JC: formal statement saying his due process rights were violated. Bringing up that the Dutch Embassy had sent someone over to translate. NG wants to know how LE tricked him. The transcript starts when the interrogation began and nothing in it about him going back to the Netherlands.

Yup, that one I am aware of. The other message was from the Editor-in-Chief's message with no other person name associated with the message but Julie Renfro.

I hate to state the obvious but a couple of things that really anger me about this Joran van der Sloot situation.

It didn't have to be this way. Stephany didn't have to die.

Assuming Joran van der Sloot was responsible for the death of Natalee Hollway, if he had just come clean and admitted it was an accident or a mistake he would be doing time in Aruba working on getting his life back together one day.

And Stephany wouldn't be dead.

If his Father didn't cover for him, lie for him, instruct him to lie and if he had simply instructed Joran to come clean.

If the Aruban authorities and or government had actually successfully investigated and prosecuted this crime as opposed to covering it up.

I can't believe the Arubian authorities want to speak with Joran about the Natalee Holloway case now.

What makes them think they get a do-over now?

Stephany is dead because of their inability to investigate a crime committed in their nation...
