Some of Stephany's friends going to be interviewed, I am so glad, we need more of her, we need to know her.

It appears Stephany was a beautiful, bright, young woman with a good future ahead of her. It's not right for her to be known in this way.

I so have a hate for people who perform acts such as this on young people.

It has been said JVDS left with one cup of coffee. Have we heard if they found the other cup in the room? Betcha there is nothing from Stephany (DNA-wise) on that cup at all.

I think anyone who thought to buy two cups of coffee to provide an alibi, would know that her saliva had to be on the cup.

That would have been so easy to do. So, it would not prove she was alive when he left for the last time.

..

Who's name was the room registered in? Hers? Seems like her family's name would have been much more easily recognized than Joran's. [what am I missing here?]

I want to see a certified copy of that extortion complaint & where it was entered into a docket [or whatever] because I just do not understand that whole thing. Who would have "played ball" with him like that? Media? Natalee's family? The US JD? It wouldn't solve the murder IMO. Sounds suspiciously like entrapment by somebody. [I'm not a Joran sympathizer nor a bleeding heart liberal - it simply doesn't make sense to me.]

A few days ago, I linked a pdf copy of the complaint but I don't know off-hand where it is right now. Here's a copy from the news station that obtained it.

FWIW, it was a 'sting' by the FBI with someone representing the Holloway family. I've read that Kelly was in Aruba two or three times in May. Anyway, Aruba authorities were in on the sting. It was up to Aruba to arrest him. Aruba has extradition agreement with U.S. for monitary crimes. But Aruba didn't arrest him.........look, we went through the same BS during the Natalee Holloway case. Aruba would 'blow off' the FBI and then tell U.S. tv that the FBI was working with them.....BS! The FBI just had to stand there and watch Aruba do and say stoooooopid things.....it was a joke!

Anyway, Aruba SHOULD HAVE arrested Joran and held him until the U.S. got there warrant for his arrest. But no, they just observed him and let the FBI know when he left the country. It is possible they were waiting for more proof of 'murder' of Natalee, I dunno'.

I wonder how many young women who got close to Joran are thinking "gee that could have been me".

It ended and the friends didn't get on. What................

We haven't heard, but if it was there, I'd bet the same thing too.

Hopefully tomorrow night he'll have more! At least Geraldo doesn't think he's innocent. :)

I didn't mean that the cup one way or the other would prove she was dead - just that the evidence from that cup will be interesting. Yes, he could have gotten her DNA on it - he would have had to "put it in her hand" - fingerprints and touch DNA - or he could have run the rim of the cup around her mouth. If she drank from it herself, the "marks" will show that. If he "set it up" the marks might not jive.

Ok - I'm rambling now.... does that make any sense?

Fran, thank you. So much factual info has transformed since the first day that it gets quite confusing.

" NEW YORK (CBS) Anita van der Sloot is "shocked" by the latest allegations against her son, Joran van der Sloot, in connection with yet another young woman's death, according to the family's lawyer Bert de Rooij.

De Rooij says that Anita van der Sloot spoke to her son via telephone Thursday but would not give details about the conversation except to say that Joran "certainly did not" confess to killing 21-year-old Stephany Flores, according to the Dutch News. "

I pray to God that the evidence against Joran is verified as fact linking him directly to Stephanys death and that he is locked up for the rest of his life.

May God Bless Stephanys family and The Holloway Family.

Let Justice be served!

Wonder who else was in the casino that night/morning who was staying at the same hotel. Perhaps, he'll try to imply/pin on him.

Between this creeps parents and Aruba this monster could and should have been put away in some sort of place where he couldn't hurt anyone or anything when he was younger ,instead his parents indulged his every whim and Aruba has protected him and excused their own actions, shame that parents cannot see or refuse to admit they had a monster.Wonder what other things besides beating his dog to death he did as a child? That action alone should have sent major alarm signals to his parents get some real help with this kid.

Why work with Aruba? Why should it have been any different? Why give him a wooden nickel?

No worries, we just have enough horrible criminals without having to claim Joran (Casey Anthony, Drew Peterson, John Gardner, Scott Peterson etc..)

You and your fellow Canadians are welcome here anytime, well except Crosby...you guys can have him back like yesterday. ;)

Absolutely, America has an abundance of serial killers, past and present, unfortunately. I personally didn't take offense to my fellow Canadian poster mistyping/mistating. As I see it, it's just extremely sad and unnecessary when ANY human being is murdered at the hands of a narcissistic sociopath. Regardless of where the killer was born.

I think this is cut and dry to Peru. He's a repeat offender, I don't think they care about prints, the weapon or any of the details our lawyers look at. She went in with him and didn't come out. He's guilty.

I keep wondering if they have allowed her father access to him yet.

Ohhhh, Beyond Belief, no doubt there are many lucky girls out there. I hope they realize just how lucky they are.

I wish him luck with that ~ video surveillance doesn't lie. And no way could somebody have gotten through a 3rd floor window.

Since he was never convicted on Natalee, would he be considered a repeat offender? [Might be a moot point in Peru - conviction schmonviction.]
